About me and my therapy practice

Hi, and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Aiysha, I am a qualified Counsellor and a Registered and Accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP).

I am currently taking on new supervisees, and I offer a low rate of £60 per session of 1.5 hours. My supervision background is TAC (The awareness centre) training school. (Diploma in Clinical Supervision) A BACP Accredited service.

As a qualified counsellor and supervisor, I work with all different culture backgrounds, LGBTQ, male and female adults and teens from 16 and above. I have a substantial experience working with a variety of issues, which includes Depression, Anxiety, Past Issues, Childhood Issues, Relationship issues, Domestic Violence, Domestic Abuse, Sexual Abuse, PSTD, OCD, Work related Issues, Bereavement &Loss, Bullying, Trauma, Low Self-Esteem, Self-harm, eating disorder and Anger Issues and many more.

I also offer pre-trial therapy in line with pre-trial therapy protocols for witnesses and victims attending court. (Around Domestic Violence/Abuse and child contact).

Having engaged in my own personal therapy, as part of counselling process, I can appreciate just how scary and challenging taking the first steps into therapy can be. It's not easy but I'll create a safe space for you to feel heard and walk through the whole journey with you. I am a person-centred counsellor who is also qualified in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) I use CBT to look at ways of coping strategies and Psycho-Education which allows you to understand your thoughts and feelings. My aim is to ensure that we work together and identify the therapeutic approach that best suits your therapeutic needs and wellbeing. I use Person centred approach to offer a warm safe space, empathy, validation, normalise your thoughts and feelings and for you to feel heard and listened to. Most importantly I am guided by you. I worked and volunteered within mental health and trauma sector for over 8 years and over 5 years experience of counselling. During this time I offered one to one support and counselling to individuals. I am working in a Primary Care setting providing counselling to people experiencing anxiety and depression, and with a wide range of issues.

My first session

As a supervisor, I establish a safe, collaborative supervisory relationship from the first session, contracting clearly, exploring the supervisee’s developmental needs, and supporting ethical, reflective practice from the outset.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Aiysha, I am a qualified Counsellor and a Registered and Accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP).

I am currently taking on new supervisees, and I offer a low rate of £60 per session of 1.5 hours. My supervision background is TAC (The awareness centre) training school. (Diploma in Clinical Supervision) A BACP Accredited service.

As a qualified counsellor and supervisor, I work with all different culture backgrounds, LGBTQ, male and female adults and teens from 16 and above. I have a substantial experience working with a variety of issues, which includes Depression, Anxiety, Past Issues, Childhood Issues, Relationship issues, Domestic Violence, Domestic Abuse, Sexual Abuse, PSTD, OCD, Work related Issues, Bereavement &Loss, Bullying, Trauma, Low Self-Esteem, Self-harm, eating disorder and Anger Issues and many more.

I also offer pre-trial therapy in line with pre-trial therapy protocols for witnesses and victims attending court. (Around Domestic Violence/Abuse and child contact).

Having engaged in my own personal therapy, as part of counselling process, I can appreciate just how scary and challenging taking the first steps into therapy can be. It's not easy but I'll create a safe space for you to feel heard and walk through the whole journey with you. I provide a warm, empathic and non-judgemental approach to my therapeutic work and offer confidential, safe environment for clients to explore and gain an understanding of any issues affecting their wellbeing. I offer face to face counselling, telephone and online counselling.


Practice description

I am a person-centred counsellor who is also qualified in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) I use CBT to look at ways of coping strategies and Psycho-Education which allows you to understand your thoughts and feelings. My aim is to ensure that we work together and identify the therapeutic approach that best suits your therapeutic needs and wellbeing. I use Person centred approach to offer a warm safe space, empathy, validation, normalise your thoughts and feelings  and for you to feel heard and listened to. Most importantly I am guided by you. Tools and guidance will be provided appropriately to fit your needs.


I worked and volunteered within mental health and trauma sector for over 8 years and over 5 years of counselling experience. During this time I offered one to one support and counselling to individuals. I am working in a Primary Care setting providing counselling to people experiencing anxiety and depression, and with a wide range of issues.


My first session

As a supervisor, I establish a safe, collaborative supervisory relationship from the first session, contracting clearly, exploring the supervisee’s developmental needs, and supporting ethical, reflective practice from the outset.

And as a therapist - once we established a therapeutic relationship, we will then look at ways of unpicking any unhelpful behaviour patterns and limiting beliefs, allowing space for you to fulfil your potential and to build self-worth.
