About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist registered with the UKCP, working with children, young people, adults, and families in Bromley and the surrounding areas of South East London and Kent. My integrative approach is tailored to the individual needs of each client, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to support emotional wellbeing, processing of difficult experiences, and personal growth.
I am trained in EMDR, having completed Parts 1-3 of the Adult EMDR training and Level 1 Child & Adolescent EMDR training. Alongside EMDR, I provide integrative psychotherapy, therapeutic parenting support, and clinical supervision. I work collaboratively with clients and families to create a safe, supportive, and reflective therapeutic space.
I offer both in-person and online sessions and aim to be flexible in accommodating clients' availability, with a range of appointment times available where possible.
Practice description
Trained at Terapia, I have extensive experience supporting clients across a range of educational, clinical, and community settings.
Early in my career, I worked in both primary and secondary schools, providing therapeutic support to students and collaborating closely with parents and teachers. During this time, I also facilitated a therapy group for Year 8 boys experiencing difficulties with school attendance.
I have since worked at PAC-UK and Family Futures, developing over six years of specialist experience supporting adopted children, young people and adults, children and young people subject to Special Guardianship Orders, birth parents, and wider family networks.
Alongside direct therapeutic work, I support adoptive parents and special guardians through NVR-informed therapeutic parenting approaches (Level 2), helping families strengthen relationships, build resilience, and respond effectively to challenging behaviours.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have about therapy. This initial conversation provides an opportunity for us to explore whether I am the right therapist for you or your family. I understand that making first contact can feel daunting, and I aim to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible.
Whether you have questions about therapy or would like to arrange an initial consultation, I would be pleased to hear from you.
