About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist, registered with BACP and accredited by UKCP. I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can explore whatever has brought you to therapy, whether that feels clear or hard to put into words. People often come because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, low, or uncertain about their relationships or life patterns. Whatever your reason, you are welcome as you are.
My approach is grounded in Gestalt and person-centred therapy, combined with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). Gestalt therapy helps you notice your thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations and patterns in the present, supporting awareness and self-understanding. Person-centred principles ensure that our work is collaborative, warm and non-judgemental.
EMDR is an evidence-based method for working with distressing or traumatic experiences that continue to affect your life. It helps the brain process memories that were “stuck,” reducing the intensity of emotions, beliefs and body sensations connected to past events. EMDR can be used alongside talking therapy or as a focused approach, always paced according to your readiness and needs.
I work with individuals and couples across all life stages. Therapy can help you explore identity, relationships, past experiences, anxiety, depression or stress, and support growth, self-compassion and emotional resilience. For couples, we focus on communication, recurring patterns and emotional connection, creating a space to restore understanding and closeness.
I aim to provide a professional, relational, and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. My goal is to help you reflect, gain clarity, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others, so that meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.
Practice description
I offer a supportive space where you can reflect on the difficulties or challenges you are facing, in a safe, confidential environment. Therapy gives you the chance to speak with someone outside your day-to-day life who can truly listen, hold space for you, and offer understanding without judgement. Together, we can explore your experiences, thoughts, emotions and patterns, helping you gain fresh perspectives and perhaps a deeper understanding of yourself.
Some people come to therapy to work through anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, or past experiences that continue to affect their present life. Others simply want a space to pause, reflect, and be curious about themselves. Whatever your reason for coming, I aim to meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels right for you.
Alongside talking therapy, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), an approach that can be particularly helpful for processing difficult memories or experiences that feel “stuck.” EMDR is gentle, structured, and always guided by your readiness, helping you feel safer and more in control. Many people find that it reduces the intensity of distressing feelings and allows old experiences to feel less overwhelming, while supporting personal growth and emotional wellbeing.
I see clients in my practice, which provides a calm, comfortable space for focused sessions, and I also offer “walk and talk” therapy in the local area. Walking together can help you feel grounded and present, while still giving space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. Therapy can help you reflect, gain clarity, notice patterns, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you. I am here to walk alongside you, offering support, understanding, and guidance as you explore what matters most and take steps toward meaningful change.

With 19 years of experience as a dedicated therapist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to my role as a qualified psychotherapy supervisor. My extensive background in Psychotherapy not only informs my supervisory work but also enriches the guidance and support I offer to both qualified counsellors and students. I work with supervisees that practice in the Humanistic modalities (Gestalt, Person Centred and Transactional Analysis)
Practice description
I provide supervision in both individual and group settings, fostering a collaborative and reflective practice environment. My approach emphasises the importance of being reflective, relational practitioners, encouraging supervisees to engage deeply with their work, explore their professional growth, and enhance their therapeutic skills.
Whether you are a seasoned counsellor seeking to deepen your practice or a student eager to learn and grow, my supervision sessions are designed to support your professional journey. Together, we will navigate the complexities of therapeutic work, ensuring you feel confident and competent in your role.
My first session
Understanding your specific needs, client load, and where you are in your training is crucial to providing effective supervision. During our initial session, we will discuss these aspects in detail to ensure that we are the right fit for each other.
