I offer in-person counselling sessions in a private and comfortable room at the South London Therapy Group in Peckham. The practice is located close to Peckham Rye station and is easily accessible from surrounding areas including East Dulwich, Dulwich Village, Herne Hill, Nunhead and Camberwell.

Sessions take place during the week or on Saturday's and are 50 minutes in length. I offer a range of daytime and evening appointments where available, which can often work well for people balancing work, family commitments or busy schedules.

Many of the people I work with lead full and demanding lives, and counselling can provide a valuable space in the week to pause, reflect and talk openly about what is going on.

If you are considering counselling, the best way to check current availability is to get in touch by email. I aim to respond to enquiries promptly and can let you know what appointment times are currently available.

I understand it can take time to reach out, so you are welcome to contact me with any questions before arranging a first session.

About me and my therapy practice

Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful individuals who carry a lot internally but aren’t used to having the space to talk about it.

From the outside life may look fine, yet internally there may be stress, overthinking, frustration or pressure building up

You might not be used to talking about what is really going on beneath the surface. In fact, many of my clients say that therapy is the first place they have had the space to speak openly for 50 minutes without interruption or judgement.

My approach is warm, calm and down-to-earth. Clients often tell me they feel able to settle quickly in the room and they feel calmer after sessions.

I work integratively, which means I draw mainly from person-centred and psychodynamic counselling, while also bringing in practical ideas where helpful. This allows us to explore both what is happening in your life now and the patterns or pressures that may sit underneath it.

Some clients come feeling overwhelmed by stress, anger or anxiety. Others struggle with confidence, people-pleasing, or feeling responsible for everyone else. Many find themselves constantly analysing situations or replaying conversations in their mind.

In our work together we create a space where you can slow down, understand what is going on for you, and begin to respond to life differently.

I believe counselling should feel like a genuine conversation rather than something overly clinical. My role is to listen carefully, help you make sense of your experiences and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.

What to Expect & Your First Session

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you are someone who is used to handling things on your own.

Many people who contact me say they have been thinking about therapy for quite a while before reaching out.

The first session is simply a chance for us to meet and see how it feels to talk together. There is no pressure to share everything straight away. You can go at your own pace.

Most people begin by talking about what has been going on recently or what has led them to seek counselling now. From there we can explore whatever feels important to you.

Sessions last 50 minutes and take place in a private and comfortable counselling room in Peckham.

Clients often say they appreciate having a regular space in the week where they can talk openly and think things through without judgement or interruption.

You don’t need to arrive with the “right words” or a clear explanation of what you’re feeling. Many people start counselling simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right, perhaps stress has been building, relationships feel strained, anger is harder to manage, or your mind never seems to switch off.

Counselling can provide the space to understand what is going on and begin to make sense of it.

Some clients come for a short period of support, while others choose to work together for longer. We can discuss what feels right for you as we go.

Many of my clients are professionals who are not used to talking about what they are carrying internally.
