Practice description
I am committed to building trusting, collaborative relationships with my clients, creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your concerns and develop deeper insight into your experiences. Together, we can work towards the meaningful changes you are seeking.
For those who prefer face-to-face sessions, I offer therapy from a comfortable room in Buxton town centre.
I also provide “walk and talk” sessions, drawing on the therapeutic benefits of being in natural—sometimes more rugged—outdoor environments. Many clients find that engaging with nature enhances their therapeutic journey. Sessions can take place in a variety of thoughtfully chosen locations around the Buxton area, with routes tailored to suit your fitness level and personal preferences.
In addition, I offer telephone and Zoom sessions. I have undertaken specialist training to effectively support clients online, with an understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges that remote therapy can bring.
My first session
I offer a free half-hour appointment (by telephone or Zoom) to explore what counselling is and how it might help. During this no-commitment session, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, and we can explore what best suits you and your circumstances.
