About me and my therapy practice
Do you often put others first, find it hard to say no, or worry about letting people down? You may recognise patterns of pleasing others, self-doubt, or anxiety, even though on the outside you appear to be coping.
Many clients I work with describe feeling emotionally overwhelmed, overlooked, or disconnected from their own needs. You might compare yourself to others, struggle with self-worth, or feel unsure how to express yourself without creating conflict. It can be exhausting to manage this alone.
These ways of coping often develop for understandable reasons, and they may have helped you get through difficult experiences in the past. In therapy, we can gently explore these patterns with curiosity and collaboratively address how you can create new patterns that serve you better.
I offer a warm, safe space where we can work together at your pace. Our work may include enhancing self-worth, asserting fair boundaries, improving emotional regulation and building emotional resilience. Over time, this can support you to feel more confident, grounded, and connected to yourself and others.

Practice description
I offer online and telephone counselling. This ensures that you have a comfortable and accessible space to access our sessions.
I offer a no-obligation, 20 minute initial consultation. This gives us the chance to meet and for you to share what you would like to get out from counselling. I can also explain a bit more about how I work as a therapist.
After the initial consultation, I will send a counselling agreement, which outlines how our sessions will be managed. We can then begin our sessions together, should you wish to go ahead.
I have experience in working with people who put others' needs first, low self-worth, emotional regulation and anxiety overwhelm.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other in a calm, supportive space. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll start with what feels most important for you, and you’re welcome to go at your own pace.
I’ll invite you to talk a little about what has brought you to counselling and what you’re hoping for from therapy. We may then begin to unpack what you bring with curiosity and without any judgment.
The first session also offers a sense of what it is like to experience therapy, allowing you to decide your next steps.
