About me and my therapy practice
I have spent most of my life in sport as an international competitor and coach, and have always been fascinated with the mind, and its ability to both help and hinder us in all our endeavours. This has also given me a passion to understand and help others in the many ways we all struggle with and can respond to the circumstances we encounter in our lives.
My approach is mainly Psychodynamic; however, I also draw on training in Psychology, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Behavioural Therapy as well as my life experience, to provide a comprehensive toolkit to best serve my clients.
I continue to learn and undertake continuous professional development and regular supervision to stay up to date with current best practice.

My first session
In your first session, we will discuss a working together contract, which you will need to complete in order for us to work safely together within the BACP Guidelines, along with any relevant questionnaires. I feel that from the start it is important to set out the structure, terms and conditions of our sessions and provide you with transparency, safety and clarity to make an informed choice.
