About me and my therapy practice

I'm an experienced counsellor and a Third-Culture Kid. I support Multicultural and International adults who may be feeling quietly anxious, uncertain, emotionally tired or overwhelmed. I'm here to support you in finding clarity, self-trust, and balance.

I offer online counselling across the UK and overseas, and outdoor counselling (walk and talk or sit and chat in nature) in central Warwick.

Many of my clients live between cultures or grew up outside their original country. Many are adult Third-Culture/Cross-Culture Kids, adults of mixed heritage, mixed race, expats, and repatriates.

I also welcome LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients (diagnosed or self-identified). I’m learning to support my own neuro needs too. I offer a validating, neuro-affirming space centred on your needs, not a “deficit” lens.

A little about me:

I’m mixed Thai/Chinese and I grew up between Thailand and the UK. I also understand therapy from both sides, as a counsellor and as someone who has been a client. I know what it’s like to look like you’re coping, while feeling anxious and overwhelmed underneath, and wondering if something is “wrong” with you.

That lived experience, alongside my professional training, shapes how I work.

About my approach to counselling:

I’m an experienced integrative counsellor. This means I don’t use one fixed approach. I recognise that our family, community, and cultural background play a big role in how we see ourselves, the world, and how we move through life. It’s about understanding you in the whole context of your life, not just as an individual in isolation.

My approach is relational, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and practical. Sessions are usually relaxed and conversational rather than clinical. If it feels helpful, I may include creative and somatic (body-based) practices to support the work, because there are times when talking alone may not be enough.

Depending on your reasons for being here, we might explore how early experiences, cultural conditioning, or survival patterns have shaped the ways you cope, relate, and respond now. The aim is for meaningful change to grow, rather than being forced, so it's real and sustainable.

I offer one-to-one counselling for adults aged 18+. A counselling session lasts 60 minutes, and we would usually meet weekly. Bi-weekly session is available upon discussion.

  • Online counselling, including telephone and email counselling. £65/session
  • Outdoor counselling in central Warwick, £65/session
  • 90-minute single session or ad-hoc sessions as an alternative to ongoing therapy, £125/session.

A little about me

I’m a British, Thai-Chinese Third-Culture Kid (TCK)* and a counsellor who’s also been a client. I remember what it’s like to function well on the outside while feeling anxious and overwhelmed on the inside, wanting things to change but unsure where to start.

Professionally, I’m an experienced integrative counsellor with a trauma-informed and compassionate approach. With over five years of counselling experience, I draw on a range of therapeutic and creative approaches to tailor our work to you, especially with how trauma, cultural influences, or emotional neglect may have impacted you.

I support clients from all walks of life, but my lived experiences led me to focus on working with adults from multicultural and international communities, including Adult Third-Culture Kids, Expats, Repats, and individuals in intercultural relationships.

*A Third-Culture Kid is someone who grew up between cultures, often moving countries or living outside their parents’ culture, which can impact identity and belonging.
