About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Catherine
A therapist working from a person-centred approach. Offering you a safe and confidential space to explore any issues that may be affecting your life.
My role is to support you with empathy ,compassion, kindness and complete focus on you . This helps you talk through, reflect upon and build resilience in yourself. In turn helping to develop a self awareness to the challenges you are facing.
I will support you while processing difficult memories of trauma, to help you take steps forward in your life. You may feel you've lost your sense of yourself and want to regain confidence. It might feel out of reach at the moment, but together we can explore your thoughts and ideas, to help you overcome and manage these tense feelings, emotions, behaviour patterns that might be holding you back from living your life to the full in the way you would like to.
Sessions are offered
Weekly for 50 minutes . I work on an open-ended therapeutic agreement, which means we will continue meeting until you feel able to manage without support. If you wish to end therapy, I require three weeks notice. This allows us to review your progress and ensure a supportive ending.

Before committing to therapy, it's important that you feel comfortable and at ease with me. Our introductory consultation is a chance to get to know each other, and for you to decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you. It's also an opportunity for you to decide if the way I work is supportive of your needs. You have time to think about your expectations, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. We can talk on the phone or online, whichever feels most convenient and comfortable for you.
