About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can begin to feel overwhelming, painful, or difficult to navigate alone. You may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, infertility, loss, or a general sense that something in your life or within yourself doesn’t feel quite right. You might find yourself repeating patterns, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or carrying emotions that are hard to make sense of.
I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about whatever is going on for you. Therapy can provide the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and explore thoughts and feelings that may feel difficult to share elsewhere. Together, we can begin to understand the parts of yourself that may have been hidden, silenced, or shaped by past experiences.
Practice description
As a qualified integrative therapist with a psychodynamic focus, I believe that our earlier experiences and relationships can continue to influence how we feel about ourselves and relate to others in the present. By exploring these patterns together, therapy can help foster greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and meaningful change. Clients often find that this process helps them feel more connected to themselves, improve relationships, and move through life with greater clarity and self-compassion.
My approach is thoughtful, relational, and grounded in the belief that each person deserves to be met with care, respect, and acceptance. I aim to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe enough to bring whatever you are carrying, without fear of judgement.
I work with clients on a regular weekly basis, as consistency can help create a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation, which gives us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, explore any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
The initial session is an opportunity to see how we can work together, explore your expectations and desired outcomes from therapy, and for you to ask any questions you may have regarding the process. Offering you a safe space to be seen and heard is my top priority.
