About me and my therapy practice

Looking for the right therapist can feel daunting, especially when you’re faced with a long list of profiles and trying to work out who might truly understand you. I offer a warm, supportive, and confidential space where you can feel listened to and accepted without judgement.

I’m a person‑centred integrative counsellor with over five years of experience working with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. People often come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or low mood, struggling with relationships, self‑esteem, or navigating challenging life changes. Whatever brings you to therapy, we will focus on what matters most to you.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to you as an individual. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches while keeping the relationship at the heart of our work, allowing therapy to unfold at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Together, we can explore your experiences, develop deeper self‑understanding, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out — just a sense that you’d like support and a space to begin.

My first session

Your initial consultation is a gentle first step into therapy and a chance for us to get to know one another. This 45‑minute session costs £45 and is designed to give you space to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of how it feels to work together.

This first meeting is not about fixing everything straight away. Instead, it’s an opportunity for you to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, while I listen and begin to understand your experiences, concerns, and hopes for therapy. I may ask some questions to help clarify what support might be most helpful for you.

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process. Feeling safe, understood, and comfortable can make a real difference to the work we do together. The initial consultation allows us both to reflect on whether we feel we’re a good match to continue working together, with no pressure or obligation to commit to ongoing sessions.

Everything discussed in the consultation is confidential, and the session is led at your pace. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance — just come as you are.
