About me and my therapy practice

Are you sick and tired of going around in circles in your relationships?

If you're feeling lost, fed up, or constantly reading between the lines because you're terrified someone is pulling away, I get it.

Whether you've just broken up, been ghosted, or feel like you're walking on eggshells with a partner, friend, or family member, it is exhausting.

When safety or love felt inconsistent growing up, it leaves you hypervigilant as an adult: feeling overwhelmed, with a racing heart, shaking, or a knot of panic in your chest.

Whether you experienced bullying, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, or an unpredictable home environment, you might find yourself grieving the life you could have had.

You might compare yourself to others, feel ashamed, embarrassed, or never quite good enough, and end up settling for emotional breadcrumbs. Therapists describe this as relational trauma or anxious attachment, where setting boundaries triggers a heavy guilt spiral.

Over five years as a qualified counsellor, and two decades as a hairstylist before that, I’ve sat across from thousands of people listening to their heartbreaks and life stories. That shaped who I am today: down-to-earth, approachable, and non-judgmental.

As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also deeply understand the weight of shame and feeling like you don't fit in.

Sessions aren't filled with clinical jargon or distance. As an integrative therapist, I blend warm human-to-human support with deep relationship insights, drawing on Person Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, and Transactional Analysis.

I am also completing advanced EMDR training (qualifying late October 2026) to help you process distressing memories and body triggers so you can break out of old survival patterns.

Therapy helps you let a call go to voicemail, turn down plans, and enjoy your evening without worrying if someone is angry with you.

You learn to set healthy boundaries and finally feel content in your own skin.

Practice description

How does it work?

When you get in touch via email, we will arrange a free 15-minute session to learn more about the support you are looking for and whether I am the right person for you. From there, we can schedule a convenient time for your initial assessment.
