About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Jamie. I am an integrative therapist and the founder of Inclusive Mind & Wellbeing.
I focus on creating a calm, patient space where you can just be yourself without any judgment. Taking that first step into therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to carry overwhelming feelings, anxiety, or past trauma on your own. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, safe, and understood.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I know what it’s like to navigate life feeling a bit outside the norm. Because of that, I work empathetically with people from all walks of life. Our unique differences and lived experiences shape who we are, and it's incredibly rewarding to sit alongside clients as they process their past and find a clearer way forward.
I help people
- Heal from childhood trauma and difficult family dynamics
- Build self-confidence and learn to be kinder to themselves
- Navigating identity, shame, and the challenges of belonging to a marginalised group
- Setting healthier, clearer boundaries in relationships
My Approach
Because everyone is different, I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. I work integratively, which just means I blend theories of person-centred therapy, psychodynamic, transactional analysis (TA), and compassion-focused depending on what you need. Together, we can look at how your past experiences might be impacting your current thoughts, habits, and relationships, always working at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Therapy involves looking at some heavy emotions, but it can also be incredibly eye-opening and empowering.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello everyone, I'm Jamie, and I have a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am passionate about providing a calm, gentle, and patient space for everyone I work with. Having someone alongside you on your healing journey is so important — you are not alone, and you don’t have to suffer in silence. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and understood.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand what it’s like to feel different or “outside the norm.” I work empathetically and non-judgmentally with clients from all walks of life, believing that our differences are what make us unique and beautiful. My life experiences have shown me the value of having a secure space to process difficult emotions, trauma, and overwhelming feelings. It’s a privilege to support clients as they explore, heal, and grow.
I am particularly passionate about helping people:
- Heal from childhood trauma and abuse
- Increase self-confidence and self-compassion
- Strengthen the relationship with themselves and others
- Explore healthier boundaries
I also support individuals from marginalised populations and those affected by loss. Through self-compassion and therapeutic support, I aim to enhance self-worth while helping clients feel less fear and anxiety around emotions.
My Approach
I work as an integrated therapist, drawing on multiple theories tailored to each client. The person-centred approach is at the heart of my work, emphasising empathy, understanding, and acceptance. I also integrate psychodynamic, transactional analysis, and compassion-focused approaches to explore how past experiences shape thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, supporting clients to respond to themselves with kindness.
Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is my priority. Counselling can involve exploring deep emotions, but it can also be enlightening and enjoyable. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to explore at your own pace.
