Availability
I currently have availability within my practice and aim to offer flexible appointment times to suit a range of needs. I work Monday to Friday, with the majority of my sessions taking place in the late afternoon and evening, to accommodate those who work full time or have daytime commitments. I also offer Saturday morning appointments for clients who may find weekends easier to manage.
Sessions are available both online and in person, depending on your preference, and I always do my best to find a regular time that works for you. If my diary is full, I am happy to keep your details and let you know as soon as a suitable time becomes available.
If I plan to take annual leave or any extended time away from practice, I will always give clients as much notice as possible so that you feel supported and can plan ahead.
My intention is to make therapy as accessible and consistent as I can, providing a safe, confidential space where you can explore whatever is on your mind at a pace that feels right for you.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what has been feeling difficult. My work is grounded in a person-centred approach, meaning your needs, experiences, and pace are at the heart of our work together, and feeling heard and understood is central.
Alongside this, I work integratively, adapting how we work to suit you as an individual or couple. A key part of my practice is ADHD-informed therapy. ADHD is a neurological, brain-based difference and can affect emotions, relationships, self-esteem, work, and daily life. Many people come to therapy having been misunderstood, mislabelled, or carrying long-held shame. My aim is to offer an affirming space that moves away from neurotypical assumptions.
I work with adults who identify with ADHD traits, are exploring a possible diagnosis, or are supporting a partner where ADHD plays a role. In relationships, ADHD can contribute to recurring patterns such as emotional overwhelm, misunderstandings, unequal emotional labour, or conflict that masks care and commitment. Therapy supports greater understanding on both sides, reducing blame and strengthening connection.
I also support clients with anxiety, low mood, loss, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Where helpful, sessions may include gentle psychoeducation, exploring patterns, and practical strategies to support regulation, resilience, and wellbeing.
My role is not to fix or direct, but to walk alongside you — listening with empathy, asking thoughtful questions, and helping you gain clarity, confidence, and self-understanding. Therapy offers space to pause, make sense of what’s happening, and move forward in a way that feels kinder and more sustainable.
Practice description
Coming to counselling can feel daunting, especially if it’s your first time, so I aim to make the process as welcoming and comfortable as possible. My practice offers a safe, confidential space where you can slow down, talk freely, and feel listened to without judgement.
Clients often tell me they value the calm, supportive atmosphere and the genuine care I bring to sessions. You can expect me to listen attentively, to respect your pace, and to work alongside you in exploring whatever is troubling you. Whether you are facing a current crisis or carrying longer-term struggles, we will work together to make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I see adults for individual counselling, and I also work with couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, or navigate conflict in a healthier way. Sessions can be held in person or online, depending on what works best for you.
I offer both short-term counselling, where we focus on a specific issue, and longer-term therapy for deeper exploration. My aim is to provide a flexible service that fits around your needs and circumstances.
I currently offer appointments Monday to Friday, mostly late afternoons and evenings to accommodate those who work full time, as well as Saturday mornings. If my diary is full, I can let you know when a space becomes available.
Above all, my practice is about creating a space where you feel safe enough to bring your real self — with all the challenges, questions, and hopes you may have — and to know you will be met with empathy, honesty, and respect.
My first session
I understand that taking the first step into counselling can feel uncertain, so I offer a free 15-minute consultation before you commit to ongoing sessions. This is an informal conversation, either online or in person, where we can talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain, and whether I am the right fit for you. You are welcome to ask any questions you may have, and there is no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel right.
If you decide to go ahead, our first full session will be 50 minutes. This time is about getting to know each other and beginning to explore what has brought you to therapy. I will ask some gentle questions to help me understand your background, current situation, and what you would like to work towards. We will also look at how we might work together — setting any goals, discussing boundaries, and agreeing on practicalities such as session frequency and payment.
My aim in the first session is to help you feel as comfortable as possible, knowing that you are in a confidential space where you will be listened to without judgement, and where we will move at a pace that feels right for you.
