About me and my therapy practice
My training is psychodynamic, so for me the starting point of any work is building up a relationship with a young person based on warmth, trust, curiosity, and respect. I thrive on helping young people to acknowledge and challenge their fears and anxieties, celebrate their strength and resilience, and develop lifelong skills and confidence to manage their mental health long term.Practice description
I run a busy psychotherapy service for adolescents in a large secondary school, responsible for providing mental health support and advice for many young people. I have extensive experience of working with young people from 5-25 years, navigating a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, neglect and abuse, relationships, family breakdown, bullying, SEN, gender identity, and OCD/phobia, among others.
