About me and my therapy practice
Midlife can bring enormous change. You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or questioning parts of your life that once felt certain. Menopause and the years surrounding it can affect far more than physical symptoms — they can impact identity, relationships, confidence, mood, and the way you experience yourself in the world.
At a time when many women are caring for others, managing careers, navigating loss or change, and trying to keep everything going, it can be easy to lose sight of your own needs.
I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and honestly about what you are experiencing. Therapy can provide an opportunity to slow down, make sense of difficult feelings, reconnect with yourself, and explore what you need moving forwards.
I work with women experiencing a range of issues connected to menopause and midlife, including anxiety, low mood, loss of confidence, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, identity changes, burnout, overwhelm, and feeling stuck or emotionally depleted.
I understand that many women reach this stage of life carrying years of pressure, responsibility and self-criticism. Together, we can work towards greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and finding a way forwards that feels more authentic and manageable for you.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative and tailored to you as an individual. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to the way I work, and I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard and accepted as you are.
Practice description
I offer in person sessions in South Manchester or online is available nationally.
My first session
Beginning therapy can feel daunting, whether it is your first experience of counselling or you are returning to it after time away.
I offer a free 30-minute telephone or online consultation so we can have an informal conversation about what has brought you to therapy and what you are looking for. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you.
Feeling comfortable and able to build trust is an important part of therapy, and this initial conversation can help us decide whether we would work well together.

About me and my therapy practice
I know that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or simply exhausted from trying to cope alone. I offer a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted as you are.
Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to the way I work. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and supportive, allowing you the space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work towards a deeper understanding of yourself, greater self-compassion, and finding ways to move forwards that feel right for you.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, identity issues, and feeling emotionally overwhelmed or stuck.
I also have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients, including autistic and ADHD individuals, as well as those exploring gender identity and transgender experiences. I understand that many people may have spent years feeling misunderstood, masking who they are, or struggling to feel accepted. Therapy can provide a space where you no longer feel the need to explain or justify yourself.
Having experienced grief and personal loss myself, I understand how important empathy, care and self-compassion can be during difficult times. My own experience of therapy has also shown me the value of being truly listened to and supported without judgement, and this informs the thoughtful and compassionate way I work with clients.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative clinical supervision grounded in the Seven Eyed Model (Hawkins and Shohet), providing a reflective and supportive space for practitioners to explore their work.
Practice description
My background is in person-centred therapy, and I work in a trauma-informed and self-compassion focused way. I aim to create a supervisory relationship that is collaborative, ethically grounded, and attuned to both practitioner and client process.
I welcome practitioners at different stages of their development and offer a balance of support and gentle challenge to encourage growth, confidence, and reflective practice.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore whether we are a good fit for working together.
We will look at your current practice, experience, and what you are hoping to gain from supervision. This includes discussing your client work, any areas of focus or challenge, and how you like to work as a practitioner.
I will also outline how I work as a supervisor, including my integrative approach and use of the 7-Eyed Model, so you have a clear sense of what to expect. There will be space for you to ask questions and reflect on what you need from the supervisory relationship.
If we decide to work together, we will agree a clear contract, including frequency of sessions, boundaries, and expectations, to support safe and effective practice.
