About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves. You may have experienced trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence, a difficult relationship, or significant loss. Perhaps you’ve spent so long coping, looking after others or simply surviving that you’ve lost sight of who you are and what you need. Whatever has brought you to counselling, you don’t have to face it alone.
I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be accepted as you are. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work because I believe lasting change begins when you feel heard, understood and supported.
I work with adults from all backgrounds, with a particular passion for supporting women affected by trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence and difficult relationships. I also support clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions and feeling emotionally overwhelmed or stuck.
Alongside my private practice, I have extensive professional experience working with people facing complex and traumatic life experiences. This has given me a deep understanding of how trauma and adversity can affect every aspect of a person’s life, which I bring into therapy with empathy and respect.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. Together we will explore your experiences, recognise unhelpful patterns, build self-compassion and develop the confidence to move forward. Clients often tell me they value having a space where they feel safe, accepted and able to be themselves.
I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including autistic and ADHD adults, and understand the challenges of masking and feeling misunderstood. I welcome people of all identities and backgrounds and aim to create a therapeutic space where everyone feels respected and valued.
Practice description
My own life experiences and personal therapy have given me a deep appreciation of the courage it takes to ask for support and the importance of being listened to with warmth and compassion.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative clinical supervision grounded in the Seven Eyed Model (Hawkins and Shohet), providing a reflective and supportive space for practitioners to explore their work.
Practice description
As a qualified supervisor, I offer a warm, collaborative and reflective space where you can explore your clinical work with confidence and curiosity. My approach is grounded in person-centred values and informed by trauma-informed practice and self-compassion, creating a supervisory relationship that is both supportive and appropriately challenging.
I have a particular interest in supporting newly qualified counsellors as they make the transition from training into professional practice. This stage can bring excitement alongside self-doubt, ethical dilemmas and questions about finding your own therapeutic voice. My aim is to provide a space where you feel safe to think, reflect and grow, while developing confidence in your clinical judgement and professional identity.
Together we will explore your client work, the therapeutic relationship, ethical practice, self-awareness and your wellbeing as a practitioner. I believe good supervision should nurture both the counsellor and the work, encouraging honest reflection while recognising your strengths and supporting your ongoing development.
Whether you are building a private practice, working within an organisation, or taking your first steps after qualification, I offer supervision that is compassionate, thoughtful and grounded in the belief that learning continues throughout our professional lives.
My hope is that supervisees leave sessions feeling supported, challenged where appropriate, and better equipped to work safely, ethically and authentically with their clients.
I have over 21 years experience of working in the criminal justice system and understand the pressures of working within a government agency, and have multi agency experience within the Civil Service, NHS and educational institutions.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore whether we are a good fit for working together. Choosing a supervisor is an important decision, and I believe it is essential that you feel comfortable, supported and able to bring yourself authentically into the supervisory relationship.
During our first meeting, we’ll discuss your current practice, professional experience and what you’re hoping to gain from supervision. Whether you’re newly qualified, building confidence in your clinical work, or looking for a reflective space to support your ongoing development, we’ll explore your individual needs and goals.
We’ll also talk about your client work, any areas of challenge or uncertainty, your professional context, and what helps you feel most supported in supervision. I’ll explain how I work, including my use of the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions and decide whether my approach feels right for you.
If we choose to work together, we’ll agree a supervision contract that outlines practical arrangements, ethical responsibilities, confidentiality, boundaries and expectations, providing a clear foundation for a safe, collaborative and effective supervisory relationship.
My aim is for you to leave our first session with a clear understanding of how we could work together and, regardless of your decision, feeling heard, valued and supported.
