Availability

I offer online appointments Monday to Thursday, with daytime and some evening availability. Sessions take place using a secure video link that can be accessed from a phone, tablet or computer without downloading any software. Telephone sessions are also available where appropriate.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation so that you can tell me briefly what you are looking for, ask questions and decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

Please contact me to ask about my current availability. If you have not received a reply, you are welcome to send me a text in case your email has not reached me.

About me and my therapy practice

You may be capable and used to managing, yet privately feel overwhelmed, anxious or never quite good enough. Burnout, masking, difficult relationships or past experiences can leave you questioning yourself and wondering why things that seem easy for other people feel so hard.

I work online with individuals, couples and families, including neurodivergent clients. I help with anxiety, trauma, relationships, addiction, low self-esteem and grief, and I also offer EMDR. My approach is warm and caring, but practical too: we will work to understand what is happening and what may genuinely help.

I am down to earth and easy to talk to, but I am also active in the work. I will not simply sit and nod while you are left wondering what to do next. I listen carefully, ask useful questions, explain what may be happening and help you find practical ways forward.

I work integratively, so I do not expect you to fit one textbook approach. Our work may include practical tools, exploring past and present patterns, understanding relationships, working with different parts of yourself or using EMDR where appropriate.

I am a BACP Senior Accredited psychotherapist with a Psychology degree, a Master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy and over 20 years’ experience in mental health. I am qualified in individual, couples and family therapy and EMDR. I welcome neurodivergent clients and people from LGBTQIA+ and GSRD communities.

Therapy is not about blaming you or telling you to try harder. The brain and nervous system learn ways of coping with stress, trauma and relationships. These responses may once have protected you, even if they now leave you anxious, shut down, overwhelmed or stuck. Understanding this can reduce shame and give us somewhere useful to begin.

Life is short. You do not have to manage everything alone or wait until things become unbearable before asking for help.

Practice description

I work with people rather than labels. Some clients need space to process what has happened; others want clearer explanations, practical tools and a plan. Most need a mixture of both. We will agree what matters to you and regularly check whether the work is helping.

I support individuals with anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, trauma, low mood, low self-esteem, grief, addiction and neurodivergence. Addiction work may include gambling, alcohol, drugs, pornography, spending or internet use.

I am also qualified to work with couples and families who want help with communication, conflict, trust, intimacy or patterns that have become difficult to change. I offer a warm and non-judgemental space, but I will not leave you to work everything out alone. I am involved, honest and proactive while working at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Sessions are online Monday to Thursday. Individual therapy is £75 for 50 minutes. Couples and family therapy is £90 for 60 minutes, and EMDR is £90 for 60 minutes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so that we can briefly discuss what you need and whether I am the right therapist for you.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute consultation before you book. You can briefly tell me what has been happening, ask questions and decide whether you feel comfortable talking to me. There is no pressure to continue.

In our first full session, we will discuss what has brought you to therapy and what you would like help with. I will explain how I work, including confidentiality and its limits, and we will agree on a pace that feels manageable.

You do not need to arrive with the right words or a clear goal. We can make sense of things together. The number of sessions is flexible, and we will regularly review whether therapy is meeting your needs.

About me and my therapy practice

About me and my therapy practice

You may feel exhausted from overthinking, trying to keep everyone happy or using something, such as gambling, alcohol, pornography, spending, drugs or the internet, to cope with feelings that have become difficult to manage. About me and my therapy practice

When you have been holding things together for a long time, anxiety, trauma or relationship difficulties can begin to affect every part of life. You may feel constantly on edge, shut down, caught in the same arguments, or stuck in gambling or another addictive pattern that is becoming difficult to control.

I work online with individuals, couples and families. I help with anxiety, trauma, relationships, addiction, low self-esteem, grief and neurodivergence, and I also offer EMDR. Supervisor - Sheffield

Sheffield S4
07944801920
Sessions from £95.00

Features

  • Flexible hours available
  • Concessionary rates

Availability

I offer online clinical supervision Monday to Thursday, with daytime and some evening availability. Sessions take place using a secure video link that can be accessed from a phone, tablet or computer without downloading software.

Supervision is £95 for 90 minutes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so that we can briefly discuss your stage of practice, what you need from supervision and whether we would work well together.

Please contact me to ask about current availability. If you have not received a reply, you are welcome to send me a text in case your email has not reached me.

About me and my therapy practice

Supervision should be somewhere you can speak honestly about your work, including the moments when you feel uncertain, stuck or worried that you may have missed something. It should not feel like a test. I offer a warm, supportive and down-to-earth relationship where you can think openly, develop your confidence and continue growing as a therapist.

I am a qualified clinical supervisor with an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision. I am also a BACP Senior Accredited psychotherapist, a qualified EMDR therapist and an experienced individual, couples and family therapist.

I work with trainee, newly qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. People need different things from supervision at different stages, so I adapt our work around your experience, client work, learning needs and professional goals.

My approach is integrative and informed by the Seven-Eyed Model. I use the model flexibly rather than turning supervision into a rigid checklist. It helps us consider the client, the therapist, the relationship between you, what may be happening in supervision and the wider systems affecting the work.

My clinical experience includes trauma, anxiety, addiction, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, and couples and family work. I can support you to think through complex presentations, safeguarding and risk, boundaries, ethical dilemmas, endings and the emotional impact of the work.

My style is active and collaborative. I will listen carefully and give you room to reflect, but I will also ask questions, share observations and help you consider practical next steps. I want you to leave supervision feeling supported, clearer and better able to practise safely and confidently.

Practice description

I provide online supervision for trainee, newly qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. Supervision is adapted to your stage of practice, client work, professional responsibilities and development needs.

Alongside clinical reflection, I can support you with safeguarding, risk, boundaries, ethical dilemmas, contracting, endings and the emotional impact of therapeutic work. I also support therapists who are setting up or developing private practice, including thinking through record keeping, confidentiality, data protection, policies and working in line with the BACP Ethical Framework.

Supervision is a collaborative process. I will not simply sit back and leave you to work everything out alone. I will listen, ask questions, offer observations and help you consider different perspectives and practical next steps. Supervision supports your professional decision-making, although you remain responsible for working within your competence and meeting your own ethical, legal and organisational responsibilities.

Online supervision is £95 for 90 minutes and is available Monday to Thursday. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so that we can briefly discuss what you need and whether we would work well together.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute consultation so that we can briefly discuss your stage of practice, client group, training or organisational requirements and what you would like from supervision. This also gives us an opportunity to decide whether we would work well together.

In our first full meeting, we will agree how we will work together. This includes frequency, fees, confidentiality and its limits, safeguarding and risk, record keeping, contact between sessions, cancellations and how we will review the supervision.

If you are a trainee, please bring any course or placement requirements so that responsibilities and reporting arrangements are clear from the beginning.

Supervision is online, Monday to Thursday, and costs £95 for 90 minutes.
