About me and my therapy practice

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counsellor Supervisor, Master’s level Addictions Therapist, and an accredited MBACP member, with more than 25 years of clinical experience supporting young people, young adults, couples, and families.

I have worked across community mental health, schools, youth outreach, treatment services, and private practice. Whatever brings you to therapy, my priority is to create a steady, respectful space where you feel heard and understood. From there, we work as a team to make sense of what is happening, identify patterns that keep you stuck, and build practical strategies that help you move forward.

My work is collaborative and goal focused. I support clients with concerns such as anxiety, low mood, school or work stress, relationship strain, family conflict, self esteem, trauma related difficulties, and addiction related concerns. We can focus on strengthening communication, setting healthier boundaries, and developing coping skills you can use straight away.

Confidentiality is central to my work, and I also hold clear safeguarding responsibilities where safety is a concern.

If you are unsure where to start, a brief consultation can help us clarify your goals and decide whether I am the right fit for you.

Practice description

I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can speak openly and feel supported as you work through what is weighing you down. My aim is to help you understand what is happening, build practical coping strategies, and move toward the life and relationships you want.

Sessions are available online or in person, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you.

My work is tailored for teenagers, young adults, and families. Together we focus on strengthening emotional regulation, confidence, communication, and resilience, while addressing the patterns that keep difficulties going. Treatment planning is collaborative and goal focused, shaped around your needs, your values, and what meaningful progress looks like for you.

With more than 25 years of experience, I provide effective, individualised outpatient therapy, alongside family and group work when appropriate. I support a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma related difficulties, and addiction related concerns. I offer a neutral, grounded approach that helps young people feel understood while also building real world skills.

I also work with couples and families, helping each person feel heard and respected, while supporting the relationship as a whole. We focus on clearer communication, healthier boundaries, repair after conflict, and rebuilding trust and connection.
