About me and my therapy practice
Life can be tough, and sometimes things happen that leave us feeling lost or unsure of ourselves. You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or unhappy, having problems in a relationship or struggling with things you used to manage. Perhaps you know what's bothering you or just feel that something isn't right.
You might find yourself going over conversations in your head, worrying about upsetting people or doubting your decisions. Perhaps you're used to putting everyone else first and looking as though you're coping, even when you're feeling exhausted or unhappy. Sometimes life looks fine on the outside, but it doesn't feel that way to you.
I offer online counselling for adults struggling with anxiety, low self esteem, relationship problems, loss or difficult experiences, whether recent or long ago. You don't need to know why you're feeling this way or what you want to change.
The things we do to cope often become habits over many years. We might learn to hide our feelings, avoid upsetting others or put our own needs last. These things may have helped us in the past but can make life difficult now.
I believe being truly heard and understood is one of life's most valuable experiences, and that's what I hope to offer you. Together, we can explore what's happening, understand why you might be feeling this way and work out what could help.
I also work with couples who are having the same arguments, struggling to talk to each other or feeling they've grown apart. We can look at what's happening between you and how you might understand each other better.
Whether you're dealing with something from the past, going through a difficult time or simply unhappy with how things are, we can work through it together.
Practice description
Starting counselling can feel daunting, especially if you're not sure what to expect. There's no pressure to find the right words or talk about anything before you're ready.
I offer a free 20 minute introductory call so we can have a chat, answer any questions and see if we feel comfortable working together. There's no obligation to book.

In our first session, we'll talk about what's brought you to counselling, how things are for you now and what you'd like to change.
