About me and my therapy practice
I’m passionate about helping my clients find their strengths, believe in themselves, and lead happier more fulfilled lives. Therapy is not just about improving yourself; it’s also about letting go of the version of you that you created to cope with life’s challenges. Sometimes, in tough times, we lose touch with who we really are.
I am a psychotherapist, coach, and supervisor who lives in Manchester. I grew up in Wales, and I am from a dual heritage background (Black African & Indian). My motivation for becoming a therapist was born through my own life experiences. Experiencing the incredible benefits of having the right professional support in my life first hand, I wanted to be able to provide the same support to others. Like many people, I have faced trauma, sadness, and loss and learned that we can't truly be our best selves when we’re burdened by unresolved issues.
My goal is to provide that same support to my clients, and I’m dedicated to creating a safe space where clients can talk about their challenges, realise their potential, and live fulfilling lives.
Practice description
The foundation of my work is a person centred approach. I work collaboratively with you, sitting alongside the feelings and experiences that arise, exploring their roots while also considering the environment in which they show up. Therapy is a partnership, and to get the most from our time together, your engagement both during sessions and in between is an essential part of the process.
I offer a supportive and compassionate environment, working in partnership with my clients, and believe in approaching therapeutic work with kindness, an open mind, an open heart, and the occasional well-timed laugh to remind us that healing doesn’t have to be serious all the time. My specialisms are focused on helping survivors of abuse, those navigating romantic relationship issues, and issues of race and identity.
I offer online therapy through video or phone calls to people across the U.K., and I meet clients in person in Manchester (M1 2AP). I support both short & long-term therapy options, but I won’t prescribe how many sessions you need. This is something we can work through together and can be led by you, your comfortability and progress.
My first session
How do we start working together?
If you're interested in working with me, just send me an email! We can chat about how we might work together. I offer a free 15-minute call so we can get to know each other, talk about your experiences of therapy, share any concerns you might have, and see if I'm the right fit for you before scheduling a first session.
What would a first session be like?
We'll start by talking about what led you to seek therapy and what you want to achieve. The collaborative side of our work is important, and it is important to mention that to get the best out of your experience, you will need to commit and put the time and effort into this work, inside and outside of our sessions.
How long do sessions last?
A therapy session lasts 50 minutes, and everything we talk about is confidential.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychotherapist, coach, and supervisor who lives and practices in Manchester. I grew up in Wales, and I am from a dual heritage background (Black African & Indian).
My motivation for becoming a therapist was born through my own life experiences. Experiencing the incredible benefits of having the right professional support in my life first hand through supervision, I trained as a supervisor to help others become the practitioner they desire to be and help develop an approach to their therapeutic practice that is true to who they are, balanced, and fulfilling.
I love creating reflective spaces for practitioners where they can feel supported, explore difficult topics, and grow in confidence. My aim is to help you feel secure and inspired in your work while encouraging ethical, anti-oppressive practice across counselling and psychotherapy.
I approach supervision as a collaborative, justice-informed space, attuned to identity, difference, and the experiences that shape each practitioner’s work. By staying curious, culturally aware, and responsive to individual needs, I aim to create a safe, restorative environment where practitioners can reflect, learn, and flourish at their own pace.
Practice description
The foundation of my work is a person centred approach. Our supervision work is a partnership, and to get the most from our time together, your engagement both during sessions and in between is an essential part of the process.
I offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists. Sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes, or two 45-minute sessions per month, and are available face to face at my therapy room in Manchester City centre, online, or by telephone. Fees are £80 for a 1.5-hour session or £40 for 45 minutes.
I also offer reflective practice spaces for those in emotionally demanding roles, such as social workers, nurses, youth workers, and charity staff, available in the same format and at the same cost as supervision.
