About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Lauren, a qualified and accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard.
I provide counselling for adults both in person and online. My dedicated therapy room offers a safe, consistent, and peaceful environment where you can begin to make sense of the challenges you may be facing.
Working with me
My work is centred on the therapeutic relationship—a space where trust and safety can unfold over time. I work alongside you, allowing you the time to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. This means you won’t be rushed or pushed to share anything before you’re ready. My approach is rooted in the idea that you are the expert on your own life, and with the right support, you can better understand yourself and make the changes you want.
I work with people of all genders and provide an LGBTQ+ affirming space, welcoming you to explore and express who you are in a way that feels true to you. Your unique perspective, identity, and values guide our work together. This means I won’t tell you how to live your life, instead, I’ll support you in discovering what feels right for you.
I often work with individuals who:
• Want to get to know themselves more deeply
• Are experiencing a life transition
• Feel anxious or stressed
• Want to develop self-confidence
• Feel stuck
• Are navigating a loss or bereavement
Whatever brings you, you will be met with warmth and without judgement. No concern is ‘too small’ to talk about in therapy. If something matters to you, it deserves to be explored.

My first session
Finding the right therapist is important and can take time. I offer an initial phone call so we can see if we would be a good fit to work together. I understand reaching out can feel daunting – I’ll meet you with kindness and encouragement to help you share a little about what’s going on for you and welcome any questions. If we decide to work together, sessions are usually weekly, though we can discuss what suits you best.
