I currently have availability on Monday and Tuesday mornings at my office in Brixton as well as online sessions on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor working predominately with 18-40 year olds who might be struggling with depression, anxiety, sexuality or gender identity struggles and/or self-esteem or low confidence. I work in a relational and person-centred way to help you feel more yourself or feel like you are living life in a more fulfilling way. Working with you, I can help you to explore the reasons or the roots of what might be troubling you to feel more like yourself, calmer and better equipped to handle life's daily challenges.

I have previously worked as a mental health worker in an LGBTQIA+ charity. Here I supported people both individually and in groups to speak about their sexuality, as well as a variety of mental health issues or struggles.

I believe that counselling can provide an open and non-judgemental space for you to explore what is troubling you. We might explore current troubles or connect with the experiences that have impacted and shaped who you are today. This confidential space can provide the framework for deep healing of old patterns and wounds.

I offer an empathic space to explore difficult or painful feelings, being mindful of the world we live in and the different experiences that make us all individuals. Good mental health is a lifelong journey, if you need a helping hand, welcome.

My first session

I offer a free 15-20 minute phone or online session for us to meet each other and see how we work together. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about our work and for me to  briefly hear from you what might be bringing you to counselling now.

If we decide we work well together and it feels like a good fit, we can decide on a session day and time there, or you can take some time to think over how it feels for you.

During the following session, we might take some time to explore your background, or focus on what has been happening in the here and now. We might expand on what has brought you to counselling or what your hopes or expectations are. We will also talk about payment details, confidentiality and cancellations etc. in this first session. There will be lots of space for you to ask questions or for you to talk about what it feels to be in the first session.
