I can offer online (telephone or video) or face to face session in Bank, London.
This works well for people working in the city, who can come before, during or after work for face to face sessions.
My practice days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
I have opened up more slots for new clients so please feel free to let me know when suits you, and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs.
About me and my therapy practice
We live in a world where “busy” is worn like a badge of honour, achievement is rewarded, pushing yourself to work to the bone is applauded and resting or putting your own needs first can bring feelings of guilt and shame. For many of us, life has become so full that we've forgotten what it feels like to simply slow down.
Modern life disconnects us from ourselves. Therapy gives us permission to reconnect.
That's why I became a therapist. I wanted to offer a space where you don't have to keep pushing, performing or holding everything together. A space where you can pause and make sense of what's happening.
Hi, I’m Asher, a BACP registered person-centred therapist, and I'm really glad you've found your way here.
If you're struggling with stress, burnout, or you've started to feel disconnected from yourself, I hope you'll find something here that feels reassuring.
You might be struggling to make decisions, looking to others for reassurance because it's become difficult to trust yourself, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of life and just feeling... a little lost.
I'm here to help you understand what's happening and support you as you move towards a life you actually want to live.
I don't believe therapy should feel like being analysed or told what to do. My role is to understand your world from your perspective, helping you offload what's been weighing on you so you can start to understand yourself more clearly.
Alongside therapy, I've become increasingly interested in the connection between our minds, bodies and nervous systems, which has led me to also train as a yoga teacher.
I can offer different practices to support you, but together, we'll find an approach that feels right for you.
For me, it’s about building our relationship and finding a way of working together that feels supportive, personal and genuinely useful for you.
If any of this resonated with you, I’d love to meet you for an introduction call.
I look forward to hearing from you :)
Asher
Practice description
Therapy with me will look different depending on what you need.
Every person who comes to therapy is different, so the way we work together is too.
For some people, simply having a space to talk and process together is enough.
For others, it helps to gently explore patterns, understand why they keep showing up, or bring in practical CBT techniques, mindfulness, meditation or reflective journaling alongside our conversations.
Whatever we do together, will a joint decision, ensuring you feel you're in control of your sessions to ensure we work in the best way for you.
We can talk all of this through in our intro call and first session, and if you would like me to, I'm happy to make suggestions to what may be helpful for you.
My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling a little lighter, with a better understanding of yourself, and knowing you don't have to carry everything on your own.
If you've read this far and something has resonated with you, I'd love to meet you for a free introduction call. There is no pressure or no expectations from this call, just a chance to see if we feel like the right fit.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call (video or telephone)
This is an opportunity for you to meet me, ask any questions you may have and decide if I feel like the right fit for you.
If you decide to go ahead, we can schedule your first full session.
We'll go at your pace, with no commitments required.
If any of this resonates with you, you're very welcome to get in touch and we can have a chat about how I can best support you.
