About me and my therapy practice

I am the founder of Apricus Mind and Body Care.

I am a Master’s-level Counsellor (MSc, Monash University) and my professional training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and family therapy.

I have experience working with individuals across different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns, supporting a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

Volunteering has been an integral part of my professional commitment. I have contributed to suicide prevention initiatives and supported a charitable organisation working with underprivileged adolescents in an orphanage in Bali, Indonesia.

I speak English and Portuguese and bring extensive multicultural experience, having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. This international background informs my culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic approach.

I am committed to ethical, evidence-based practice and to delivering structured, compassionate, and professionally guided therapeutic care. My goal is to empower individuals to develop the psychological skills, resilience, and self-awareness needed to navigate challenges and thrive.
