I understand that finding time for counselling can be challenging, so I aim to offer flexibility where possible. I currently provide online counselling sessions on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

About me and my therapy practice

I work with individuals who are looking to make sense of difficulties in their lives, whether these experiences are recent or rooted in the past. My aim is to support you in understanding what you are experiencing and to work alongside you to find ways of moving forward, at a pace that feels right for you.

I am an accredited member of the BACP, and hold a Diploma in Adlerian Counselling, an approach that recognises the importance of encouragement, understanding, and supportive relationships in creating meaningful and lasting change. Where helpful, we may explore earlier life experiences to build insight and understanding, not to dwell on the past, but to reduce its hold on the present and support growth.

I specialise in working with Trauma, PTSD, and complex PTSD (CPTSD), supporting clients to process some of the most challenging experiences of their lives in a safe and contained way.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Traumatology and PTSD and work with a range of evidence-based trauma approaches, including:

• STAIR

• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

• Imagery Rescripting and Reprocessing Therapy

• Prolonged Exposure Therapy

In addition, I also offer:

• Exposure, Relaxation and Rescripting Therapy

• Brainspotting

I work with clients seeking support for a wide range of issues, including addiction, anxiety, childhood trauma, disability, dissociation, family difficulties, low confidence and self-esteem, menopause, neurodivergence (ASD and ADHD), OCD, personal development, PTSD and complex PTSD, relationship difficulties, sexual assault, stress, suicidal ideation, transgender issues, and trauma.

I have also completed additional training in infant loss, bereavement, and neurodivergence.

If you are considering counselling, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange a free 30-minute initial consultation. This offers an opportunity to ask questions, talk through what you are looking for, and see whether working together feels like the right fit for you.

Practice description

I provide a confidential, non-judgemental, and encouraging space where we can think together about what you need. My background includes work in consultancy and support services, as well as volunteering in crisis support, which has shaped a calm, respectful, and collaborative way of working.

I currently offer counselling online or by phone, working with clients in the UK and internationally. I aim to be flexible where possible and currently offer sessions on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

My first session

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to feel unsure about what to expect in a first session.

Our initial session is an opportunity for you to begin talking about what has brought you to counselling, in a calm and supportive space. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable — we will go at your pace, and you are always in control of what we discuss.

We’ll spend some time talking about what you’re experiencing now, and what you hope counselling might offer you. I may ask some gentle questions to help me understand your situation, but this is not an assessment or a test. It’s simply a way for us to begin building a shared understanding of your needs.
