Are you struggling with motherhood - the longing for it, the heartbreak within it, or the grief of a path that looks different from what you had planned?
Maybe you recognise yourself in the following experiences:
- You are emotionally exhausted from fertility treatment or carrying the devastation of miscarriage or pregnancy loss.
- You are pregnant and overwhelmed by anxiety or intrusive thoughts.
- You’ve had your baby and something feels wrong - postnatal depression or anxiety or maternal OCD.
- The impact of birth trauma.
- Your relationship feels strained since your baby arrived.
The journey into motherhood can leave you feeling isolated, disconnected, and unsure of who you are.
This is more common than you know, and you do not need to carry this alone.
I’m a BACP-accredited counsellor based in Brighton and Hove, specialising in perinatal mental health — supporting women and couples through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postnatal depression, birth trauma, and pregnancy loss.
I offer in-person therapy in Brighton and Hove and online therapy across the UK.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you a couple navigating the impact of parenthood on your relationship?
Conversations that once felt easy may now lead to tension or misunderstanding. Disagreements can escalate quickly, leaving you both feeling unheard.
Perhaps you are finding yourselves in conflict around sharing the load, a loss of intimacy, or differences in how you approach parenting. One of you may feel overwhelmed, while the other feels shut out or alone.
Parenthood reshapes a relationship. That doesn’t mean something is broken- it means something has changed.
You may see yourselves in the following:
- loss of intimacy
- conflict over parenting styles
- feeling unappreciated
- lack of communication
- feeling like co-parents rather than partners
I work with couples to navigate this transition, offering a space where you can both slow things down, feel heard, and begin to understand yourself and each other more deeply.
Together, we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and find ways to reconnect.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you a new mother feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, or your sense of identity?
Perhaps your birth experience felt overwhelming, traumatic, or not as you had hoped. You might be navigating intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or a sense of not feeling safe or settled within yourself.
With so much 'advice' and expectation around you, it can be hard to hear your own voice.
You may recognise yourself in some of the following:
- struggling with body image after birth
- low mood & postpartum depression
- postnatal anxiety & intrusive thoughts
- Maternal OCD
- experience of birth trauma
- losing your identity since becoming a mother
I specialise in supporting mothers through this complex and often unsupported transition. Together, we create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to reconnect with yourself.
Everything you bring is welcome.
Since becoming a mother, I have a deep respect for the impact this time can have on your body, mind, and sense of self. I understand how much you may be holding, often without the support you need.
Whether you are 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years into motherhood, I offer a space where you can be heard and supported.

My approach combines talking therapy with body awareness (somatic work). This means we don’t just focus on your thoughts, but also on what is happening in your body, because so much of what you're carrying lives there.
In our work together, you can begin to understand your experiences more deeply to find a way back to your intuition and true self and build a more trusting relationship with yourself.
