Are you struggling with motherhood - the longing for it, the heartbreak within it, or the grief of a path that looks different from what you had planned?

Maybe you recognise yourself in the following experiences:

  • You are emotionally exhausted from fertility treatment or carrying the devastation of miscarriage or pregnancy loss.
  • You are pregnant and overwhelmed by anxiety or intrusive thoughts.
  • You’ve had your baby and something feels wrong - postnatal depression or anxiety or maternal OCD.
  • The impact of birth trauma.
  • Your relationship feels strained since your baby arrived.

The journey into motherhood can leave you feeling isolated, disconnected, and unsure of who you are.

This is more common than you know, and you do not need to carry this alone.

I’m a BACP-accredited counsellor based in Brighton and Hove, specialising in perinatal mental health — supporting women and couples through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postnatal depression, birth trauma, and pregnancy loss.

I offer in-person therapy in Brighton and Hove and online therapy across the UK.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Humanistic Integrative counsellor and Somatic practitioner, which means I combine a number of different modalities in the way I work.

I offer both in person and online sessions.

It’s common for women and couples to feel alone, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to cope during fertility challenges, pregnancy, and early parenthood. If this is your experience, I offer a space to talk, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

About me and my therapy practice

Relationships evolve over time, and sometimes life presents challenges that can feel overwhelming.

You may be experiencing a loss of connection or intimacy.

Perhaps communication has become difficult, and both of you feel unheard or misunderstood.

You may have experienced a rupture, such as infidelity, where trust has been shaken.

Or you might be going through a major life transition- having a baby, moving home, changing jobs, or experiencing bereavement or another significant loss- which has impacted your relationship in ways that feel difficult to recover from.

Couples therapy can provide a space for you both to feel heard and reconnect.

Practice description

I work with couples navigating the impact of life transitions on their relationships, supporting them to strengthen communication and reconnect with one another.

I am a Humanistic Integrative counsellor and Somatic practitioner, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each couple. I offer both in-person and online sessions.

My role is to provide a safe, neutral space where you can communicate openly with each other and explore the challenges in your relationship, allowing you both to feel heard and understood.

I can support you with the issues impacting your relationship, including:

• Communication that feels reactive or defensive

• Navigating differences in roles and responsibilities

• Feeling more like co-managers or roommates than partners

• Constant practical conversations with little emotional connection

• Differences in approaches to parenting or family life creating conflict

• Loss of intimacy

• Feeling unseen, unappreciated, or misunderstood

• Difficulty repairing after conflict or feeling stuck in unresolved tension
