About me and my therapy practice
I help people who are stuck feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious. This may be because of a traumatic event, challenging childhood, or day to day stressors.
I provide a creative and enabling space where safety is paramount. I do not pathologise or diagnose and look at what has happened to you rather than what is wrong with you.

If stress, overwhelm and anxiety feel like a relentless struggle, I am here to help
Maybe you feel anxious or overwhelmed and are finding it hard to deal with everyday life or are worried you might never feel normal again?
You may be in a fight or flight response and are trapped in a cycle of hyper vigilance and collapse, making changes in your health and making chronic conditions worse.
Maybe a difficult event is always on your mind and is ruining your fun in a day to day life or maybe you just feel numb -unable to feel and fatigued.
You may know this stems from a difficult past such as your childhood, a traumatic event, or your family relationships or day to day stressors. Or maybe you don’t know what the cause is.
If so I am here to support and help you.
Together we will find a way that works for you and plan ways to help you move forward. I am an integrative and somatic therapist which means that I work in a way that suits you and your body. I use body based techniques such as breathing and movement when that suits you.
In addition to helping you find new ways of being going forward, I will also teach you practical exercises to calm your nervous system enabling it to heal and recover. Together we can start listing to your body and work out ways of calming your nervous system.
In addition for clients that are suitable and subject to assessment, I will offer the Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol. Both are clinically proven therapies which bring about more calm and connection in your life.
My first session
My first session is charged at £30.00.
This gives us a full hour to look at what has happened to you and what help you want and what you would like to achieve.
We can also discuss The Safe and Sound Protocol and whether this may be suitable for you in the future or when you start therapy.
