About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is William Signey, BA Hons. MBACP, I am a level 6 counsellor/psychotherapist with over 6 years of experience and over 3000 hours with clients. I work in an integrative way offering a safe, confidential environment for my clients, enabling them to understand their feelings and emotions in this ever-changing and demanding world. I have worked with problems such as PTSD, Depression, Abuse, Sexual and Physical, Historical/Childhood issues, Neglect, Anxiety, Panic attacks, Suicidal ideation, Phobias, avoidance, etc.
I have experience working with adults and children from the age of 12 years old within clinical settings and schools on a private basis. I have also worked with a mental health charity in a voluntary capacity.
Clients tell me that I have a way of deep empathy and understanding of their situations, feelings, and emotions, in many cases for the first time in their lives.
We can work together, to build trust, empathy, confidence, and autonomy, helping not just initially but ongoing and into the future.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
