About me and my therapy practice

I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist with adults, offering a calm and supportive space to explore emotional difficulties and life challenges. I have experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties and the impact of past experiences, including trauma.

Some people come to therapy because of current difficulties in their relationships, work or emotional wellbeing, while others want to understand how earlier experiences continue to shape how they feel and relate to others. I work with both, adapting the focus of therapy to what feels most relevant and helpful for you at the time.

I have worked in NHS settings as well as private practice, and I believe therapy should be as individual as the person entering it. I aim to work thoughtfully and collaboratively, recognising that there is no single approach that fits everyone.

Practice description

I work in an integrative and relational way, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to respond to your needs rather than following a fixed model. I work with curiosity and care, paying close attention to what you bring to sessions and to how our conversations develop. At times, this may involve gently exploring patterns or questions that emerge in our work together, while keeping the work thoughtful and contained.

I see the therapeutic relationship as central to the process. Feeling safe, respected and understood is especially important when exploring difficult or painful experiences. I aim to offer a warm, steady and reliable presence, especially at times when things feel uncertain, overwhelming, or difficult to hold on your own.

If you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties or the impact of past experiences, you are welcome to get in touch. An initial conversation can help us think together about whether therapy with me would feel like a good fit.
