I primarily offer online sessions for ease of access for clients and myself.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a complementary 20 minute appointment to check that we are both a good therapeutic fit. This is an opportunity to ask me any questions. In this meeting you will be asked to share in a few sentences why you want counselling, whether you have had counselling for and what outcomes you are looking for.
I work with my clients as a team. I have an extensive 'tool bag' from my training and we adapt the therapy to what works best for you.
I am an experienced, registered counsellor with the BACP and also am a member of the Association of Christians in Counselling.
Practice description
Clients usually choose me because they think I will be easy to talk to. It is really important that you feel that you can share easily and without judgement so that we can work together for the changes you want to experience.
I am qualified as a counsellor, coach and a teacher so my approach as an integrative counsellor is about empowering my clients to find the solutions and outcomes they are looking for. Clients may not know what solutions and outcomes they desire but they know that something is not working and causing pain and they want to address it.
As I have experience with children and young people with additional and special needs I bring this also to my counselling work. This means that I have worked with carers of young people with special needs and counselled neurodivergent clients.
During my career I have counselled people regarding relationships, stress, anxiety, bullying, abuse, grief and loss, bereavement, depression, boundary-setting, self-care and other areas.
If you would like to have a complementary session please do not hesitate to make contact.

About me and my therapy practice
Clients choose me because they tend to feel safe quickly and are at ease to be able to talk through their problems with a view to finding solutions that work for them. I offer online, video and phone counselling allowing you to fit the counselling around your life. I am currently able to offer flexible appointments (day-time, evenings and weekends by arrangement). This will depend on waiting lists going forward.
As a registered BACP Counsellor, I have experience in supporting people with a range of issues but my specialisms are empowering women to find themselves after relationship difficulties, rejection, loss and bereavement and work-place bullying and finding fulfilment at work.
In addition to counselling, I also offer coaching. I have trained extensively in helping people to grow so working with me can provide you with tools for the rest of your life.
I am trained in person-centred counselling, solution-focussed counselling, integrative counselling, NLP and have three coaching trainings to my name. I understand the issues I specialise it because of my own journey.
Practice description
Choose me if you want to a counsellor who works with your own learning and development styles. Trained extensively in personal development and in learning styles, I adapt my approach to each client.
Choose me if having a counsellor that you feel comfortable with quickly is important to you.
Choose me if you want to choose someone with extensive training so that you feel you are confident the counsellor knows what she is doing.
Trained in person-centred counselling, solution-focussed counselling, integrative counselling and cognitive-behavioural counselling I have an extensive tool-kit and we use what works for you.
Counselling with me is an empowering journey and a journey we share. You share what you need and we work on that together.
If for any reason I do not believe I am best-suited to your needs I will say so so that you are not wasting your investment. All counsellors have specialism and it is important that you feel comfortable sharing your life with the counsellor.
It will be non-judgemental and client-centred. I work as a Christian and seek to reflect the characteristics of Christ in my work.
