About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Anna a caring, understanding counsellor for adults in Ayrshire working in-person or online. I try to remove barriers to counselling by offering affordable, flexible options to help you access the support you need. Sessions start from £40.

I work mainly with overcoming anxiety and depression. Clients I have supported in the past have had a variety of reasons for this whether it is low self confidence, relationship difficulties, life changes such as menopause, challenging family dynamics or managing complex trauma (CPTSD) or ADHD.

I use a relationship centred counselling approach as I believe that meaningful change happens within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship—one where you are not judged and feel truly seen and heard.

Getting some insight by talking to a counsellor can be an important first step towards understanding yourself & your relationships. Being trauma informed means I understand the mind, brain, body connection and can work that way if it is right for you. This can be a next step for those who might need to more deeply process traumatic memories. This might be learning mindfulness and grounding tools or processing using an EMDR approach.

Practice description

About me and my therapy practice

I am a relational clinical supervisor offering tailored support to help counsellors work safely, ethically, and with confidence.

I work from an integrative, pluralistic perspective and offer a supportive, collaborative space for counsellors at all stages of their professional journey.

My work is grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, allowing us to explore clinical work from multiple perspectives while staying firmly rooted in the therapeutic relationship.

I recognise that counsellors need different levels and types of support at different points in their career, and I tailor my supervision accordingly. Whether you are newly qualified, developing confidence, or an experienced practitioner seeking deeper reflection, I aim to encourage, support, and gently challenge in ways that foster growth, skill development, and self-awareness.

My approach is both ethically robust and relationally attuned, supporting you to work safely, thoughtfully, and with integrity. Supervision with me may at times include personal support where this is relevant to your professional practice, always held within clear boundaries and ethical awareness.

My goal is to help you develop the confidence to trust yourself, your practice, and your clinical judgement.
