About me and my therapy practice

Entering into counselling can feel like a big step, and understandably, you may be concerned about what the process involves. Simply put, counselling allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgemental space, giving you the opportunity to see the issues that are bothering you more clearly and find ways to make the intolerable tolerable. If you have a history of trauma, are feeling overwhelmed and anxious, are struggling with your relationships, or perhaps feel that your life is at a crossroads and you don't know where to turn next, counselling can help. Maintaining your mental health is important and is a good reason to come to counselling.

We can explore issues important to you so that you develop greater awareness and understanding of yourself, and feel empowered to make changes.

I trained in an integrative way, this means I use various techniques and theories to help you, and I will combine these to get you the best possible results.

I am a kind and sensitive person and we will explore your difficulties at your pace.

I provide counselling in all areas and I am a specialist in depression, anxiety, abuse, grief and trauma. I have 4 years experience with all ages but especially with young people aged 18-25.

I am flexible with appointments and shift workers are welcome.

Your first session will be £35 and completely without obligation. It is important that you trust me and feel comfortable.
