Availability
I currently have availability for new clients.
I offer sessions Monday to Friday, with both daytime and early evening appointments available. My practice is fully online, so there is no geographical restriction on who I can work with — I see clients across the UK.
If you're unsure whether I have a slot that fits your schedule, the best first step is to book a free discovery call and we can look at timing from there. You can do this from my hompage on my website.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with professionals who look like they're coping, because they are, just about.
Executives, senior leaders, business owners, and high achievers who've built successful careers while quietly becoming exhausted by them. People who are burning out, running on anxiety, or secretly convinced they're one bad meeting away from being found out. People who find it hard to ask for help because needing help has never been part of the identity.
Before I retrained as a psychotherapist, I spent 25 years in senior corporate roles, including American Express and FedEx. That background matters. It means I understand the environment my clients are navigating, the pressure they're under, and the particular way that struggling can hide behind competence. I've been in that world. I know what it costs.
I'm a BACP-accredited psychotherapist and coach, and a qualified EMDR practitioner. I work in an integrative way, drawing on person-centred, CBT, solution-focused, and EMDR approaches depending on what each person needs.
My sessions are practical as well as exploratory. Insight matters, but so does having something useful to take back into your week. I won't just sit with you in the difficulty. I'll help you understand it, and then I'll help you move through it.
All my work is online, which suits professionals well. No travel, no waiting rooms - just a confidential space that fits around your actual life.
If something here feels familiar, a discovery call costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Practice description
My practice is built around one core belief: that the people who look most together often need the most support, and are the least likely to ask for it.
I specialise in burnout, workplace anxiety, imposter syndrome, stress, and perfectionism in professionals and leaders. These aren't niche presentations - they're increasingly common. What is less common is a therapist who understands the culture that produces them from the inside.
I work with adults across the UK, fully online, using a secure video platform. Sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly, though I work flexibly depending on what each client needs.
My approach is integrative, which means I don't apply a single model to every person. I draw on what the research supports and what my clinical experience tells me is useful. For some clients that's predominantly person-centred and relational work. For others it involves structured CBT tools, EMDR for processing difficult experiences, or coaching-style goal-setting when that's what fits.
I'm registered with AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, and WPA, so if you have private health insurance it's worth checking your policy as you may be covered.
Sessions are £80. I hold a small number of reduced-rate spaces for clients who need them - please ask if this applies to you.
A free 20-minute discovery call is available before we begin. This is a chance to talk about what you're looking for, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether we're the right fit.
My first session
The first session is an assessment , but it won't feel like a form-filling exercise.
I'll ask you about what's brought you to therapy now, what's been going on, and what you're hoping things will look like when things improve. I want to understand you in context, not just the presenting problem, but the life around it.
I'll also tell you a bit about how I work, answer any questions you have, and give us both the space to sense whether working together feels right.
There's no pressure to commit after a first session. Some people know immediately. Others want a little time to reflect. Either is fine.
The first session is the same length and rate as a standard session - 50 minutes at £80. If you've had a discovery call beforehand, we won't be starting from scratch, you'll have already had a chance to share the basics and get a feel for how I work.
By the end of the first session, you'll have a clearer sense of what we'd be working on, how we'd approach it, and roughly how long the work might take, though that last one always comes with caveats. Therapy doesn't run to a fixed timetable, and I'd rather be honest about that than give you an unrealistic promise.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm a BACP-accredited psychotherapist, qualified clinical supervisor, and EMDR practitioner. Before retraining, I spent 25 years in senior corporate leadership, including roles at American Express and FedEx.
That background isn't incidental to my supervision practice. It means I understand the world that professional clients are navigating, and I understand how that shows up clinically in ways that aren't always obvious from the outside.
My supervision specialism is supporting therapists who work with high-achieving professionals whether that's people experiencing burnout, workplace anxiety, or imposter syndrome. This is a specific client population with a specific clinical complexity: high-functioning presentations, identity fused with performance, and a particular resistance to being seen as someone who needs help.
I'm trained in the Hawkins and Shohet 7-Eyed Model and bring a structured, practically grounded approach to supervision. Reflective, yes, but always oriented toward what's useful for you and your clients.
I offer individual supervision and small group supervision. The group is the only dedicated supervision group in the UK for therapists working with this client population.
Practice description
My supervision covers three areas.
Clinical support - we work through the cases you're carrying, exploring the dynamics between you and your clients, your emotional responses, ethical considerations, and the clinical decisions you're navigating. Particular attention to the complexity that comes with high-functioning presentations.
Professional development - supervision attends to you as a developing practitioner, not just the cases you bring. I can help you navigate accreditation pathways, and identify CPD that genuinely moves your practice forward.
Practice development - practical guidance on building and sustaining a private practice. Finding your niche, communicating your specialism with confidence, and creating a practice that attracts the clients you're best placed to help.
Individual supervision is 90 minutes monthly at £75 per session.
Group supervision is 90 minutes monthly, maximum six practitioners per group, at £45 per person per session. The group combines case presentation, peer reflection, and psychoeducation focused on the professional client presentation.
All supervision is online. I offer a free 20-minute discovery call before we begin.
My first session
Before we begin supervision I offer a free 20-minute discovery call. This is a chance to talk about where you are in your practice, what you're looking for from supervision, and whether working together makes sense. No pressure and no commitment required.
If we decide to go ahead, I'll send you a supervision contract to review before our first session. This covers confidentiality, recording policy, attendance expectations, cancellation terms, and safeguarding responsibilities.
The first supervision session follows the same structure as subsequent sessions. We'll agree on how you want to use our time together, discuss any cases you're already carrying, and start to establish the working relationship. For group supervision, the first session also includes an orientation to how the group works and an opportunity for members to introduce themselves and their practice focus.
