About me and my therapy practice

I work with people who care deeply, think a lot, and carry more than they let on. The ones who struggle with self-worth, anxiety, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed.

Maybe you're:

  • Experiencing persistent self-doubt and feelings of never being good enough?
  • Struggling in relationships that feel one-sided and emotionally draining?
  • Having difficulty “switching off” and feeling the need to stay constantly busy?
  • Craving quiet and stillness?
  • Hiding your true feelings from others?
  • Struggling under the weight of other people’s expectations?
  • Shutting down or panicking when conflict happens - especially with people you care about?
  • Carrying the pressure to hold everything together?
  • Experiencing anger that feels hard to contain?

If this resonates, you might be in survival mode. Unresolved experiences from earlier life can resurface in the present, layering your current struggles with restlessness, frustration, or a sense of feeling stuck that’s hard to explain.

We might be a good fit, if you:

  • Spend a lot of time in your head, overthinking or second-guessing everything, and struggling to quiet your inner critic.
  • Struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, or setting impossibly high standards of yourself.
  • Often feel on edge, even when everything seems "fine".
  • Feel disconnected or misunderstood - even around the people you love.
  • Struggle to make decisions - big or small.
  • Carry guilt for needing space, rest, or help - and often don't ask.
  • Experience conflict in your relationships that feels difficult to overcome.
  • Feel you have to put everyone else’s needs first - and feel exhausted, resentful, or invisible because of it.
  • Grew up in a family that often dismissed your feelings or responded with advice or practical solutions.
  • Identify as an introvert or highly sensitive person (HSP) and find that the world often feels too much.
  • Want to nurture your emotional wellbeing, or simply create more meaning in your life.

Whatever your experience, and however you feel - all of you is welcome.

Practice description

I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where we follow your lead. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the relationship we build together.

While I won’t offer advice or quick fixes, I will offer reflections and gentle insights along the way - ones that can offer new ways of understanding yourself, ease old patterns, and help you relate differently to yourself and others - in ways that last long after therapy ends.

I’m attuned to how the nervous system responds to what you’re feeling - because difficult experiences don’t just show up emotionally; they’re held in the body. This way of working can gently shift patterns that talking alone might not reach, helping you feel more grounded, connected, and more trusting of yourself and your feelings.

We can explore the parts of you that show up in certain situations, especially those working to protect you. If helpful, we can also use metaphor and creative approaches to make sense of what’s hard to put into words.

From my own journey and working closely with clients, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the healing that happens when we are truly seen and accepted for who we really are.

Over the past five years, I've worked with many clients who have left therapy feeling:

  • More connected to themselves.
  • Less weighed down by their experiences.
  • Clearer about their own needs and what's been keeping them stuck.
  • Less anxious, overwhelmed, or depressed.
  • Kinder and more compassionate towards themselves.
  • More hopeful and with a greater sense of confidence in both the present and the future.
  • Able to live fully alongside their experiences of grief and loss.

My first session

We live in a fast-paced world that can leave us feeling empty and overwhelmed. Giving yourself the space to slow down and heal, is one of the greatest gifts you can offer yourself.

I warmly invite you to contact me to book a free exploratory call. This is a chance to discuss how we might work together, explore your hopes and expectations, and ask any questions you may have.

Therapy involves talking about deep and personal experiences so finding the right therapist for you really matters.
