I'm very flexible with times and days and happy to work Saturdays and Sundays (will an addition fee of £10) and late evenings (up to 9pm the last session) to fit in around people with busy lives, jobs and families. I am BACP registered integrative Counsellor. I retrained as a therapist following a 22 year career as a registered nurse. My practice focusses on adults (18 years and older). I volunteered for 2 years at a sexual trauma and recovery service, during which I developed my speciality in trauma, psychoeducation techniques and the use of the neurological physiology of the body’s reaction to various types of trauma, abuse and interlinking related concerns. I am trauma informed therapist with extensive experience working with clients from all cultural backgrounds of all ages. My clients tend to have find themselves experiencing intrusive thoughts, depression, burnout, trauma, or OCD, and the therapy I offer is person centred to how your brain and body tries to maintain an equilibrium to manage day to day living.
I offer trauma-informed, integrative approach which is individualised to each persons requirements.
