I also offer in person sessions in your own home if you live in the South Dorset area.

Fundamentally, I respecting that you are the expert on your own life. During my voluntary work with a sexual trauma and recovery service, I became developed a passion for helping those that have been struggle to see themselves as an individual, especially when they have found themselves in situations not of their own making. Having personal lived experience of how these feels exacerbated my desire to be there for those that have felt this same way. I strive to adapt my own approach to make therapy work for all.

My style is down to earth, and I draw on creative, visual, and psychoeducational approaches to meet each person’s unique needs. I aim to provide a safe, accepting space where you can explore what matters most to you and become the best person you can be. This approach prioritises safety, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. My first session

In the first session, we will explore what you want to achieve from counselling and discuss what has bought you here. We will look at the Counselling contract and answer any questions that you may have, ensuring there is no concerns or errors going forward. I will ask you to complete a short health questionnaire beforehand and I will check that all of the information is still the same.
