About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychotherapist working with anxiety, burnout, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, and work-related stress, with a particular interest in the longer-term psychological impact of sustained pressure over time.
Many of the people I work with appear to be functioning well externally — managing work, relationships, and responsibility — while internally experiencing anxiety, emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, or a growing sense that previously effective ways of coping are no longer sustainable.
My work is grounded in psychotherapy and informed by psychoeducation, with a focus on psychological longevity: the capacity to remain emotionally steady and psychologically well while navigating complexity, responsibility, and change over time.
Alongside my clinical training, my perspective has also been shaped by personal experience of burnout. Despite maintaining a strong focus on health, structure, and external wellbeing, I experienced the impact of sustained stress in a way that could not be resolved through lifestyle or discipline alone. This has informed a deeper interest in how stress, trauma, and relational experiences shape internal regulation and long-term wellbeing.
I work relationally and psychodynamically, paying attention to how earlier experiences and relational patterns continue to influence present-day coping, emotional responses, and ways of relating to self and others.
This work is not focused on symptom management alone, but on understanding what sits beneath patterns that feel repetitive, overwhelming, or difficult to shift.
Practice description
My practice offers a reflective and contained therapeutic space for individuals experiencing emotional strain beneath high levels of external functioning.
This often includes anxiety, burnout, trauma, ADHD, relational difficulties, and work-related stress, particularly where there is a sense of holding significant responsibility while feeling internally depleted or disconnected.
A central focus of my work is psychological longevity — the capacity to maintain internal steadiness and coherence over time, particularly in the context of ongoing demands, complexity, and change.
Sessions provide space to explore patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating, and how these have developed over time in response to experience. Attention is given to the role of stress and relational history in shaping current emotional responses and coping strategies.
The work is exploratory rather than directive, supporting increased awareness of internal patterns and the conditions under which they shift. Alongside this, psychoeducation is integrated where helpful to support clarity and understanding of emotional and physiological experience.
The aim is not only insight, but the possibility of meaningful and sustainable change in how you relate to yourself, others, and the demands of life.
Sessions are available online and in person in central London.
My first session
The first session provides an initial opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and what feels most present or difficult at this point in time.
We will think together about what feels important for you to understand or change, and what you are hoping for from the process, whether that is clarity, steadiness, or a different relationship with long-standing patterns.
There is no expectation to arrive with certainty. Many people begin therapy with a general sense that something feels difficult to sustain, or that previous ways of coping are no longer working as they once did.
The session also offers space to ask questions about how I work and to get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit for you.
Therapy is not time-limited in approach unless agreed otherwise, and the work tends to unfold over time as patterns become clearer and more understood.
