About me

Life is stressful and coping with it can feel overwhelming. You are not alone and I am here to help you find clarity and calm by tailoring dialogue sessions to address your unique and specific needs in a safe and trusted environment.

Areas of care:

I am licensed in the UK with 15 years of professional work experience in the field of mental health. In my practice, I am passionate about helping clients with stress, anxiety, coping with grief, panic, co-dependency, recovering from controlling relationships, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), depression, motivation, self-esteem, low-self worth, trauma, the impact of long term conditions on mental health and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with kindness, respect, sensitivity and compassion. I work with adults, secondary schools and teenagers.

I use a variety of therapeutic techniques which include, person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy (cbt), solutions focused, ACT, relaxation, and mindfulness, to help overcome the distress experienced.

My first session

What to expect from our first session and the counselling process?

It is important to gain an understanding of what you want from counselling and to see if I am the right counsellor for you. This is a process of building trust and feeling comfortable whilst working together and regularly reviewing the main area you want to work on. The initial session is an assessment and further sessions are weekly however this is changeable depending on the individual needs as some prefer to work fortnightly. I trust to help make your counselling experience a positive one which encompasses time for reflection, healing, inspiration and personal growth.
