About me and my therapy practice

People come to counselling for many reasons and it can feel daunting whether you are new to it or not. My clients come from all walks of life, and each bring their own unique story. In my counselling practice I offer clients a warm, safe, non-judgmental online space to talk things through.

I am a qualified accredited humanistic counsellor working with adults. My work as a therapist is split between my private practice and working for a  charity offering counselling to neurodivergent clients and their families. I am also part of a neurodiverse family that has both diagnosed and undiagnosed autism and ADHD.

I have been part of the field of mental health and wellbeing for over 20 years. As a counsellor I have supported neurodivergent clients, unpaid carers, those affected by substance misuse, people living with chronic pain and long-term health conditions, the LGBTQIA+ community and many others.

I use a number of different therapeutic approaches to support my clients. As a trained bereavement counsellor I believe there is no universal template for experiencing grief or loss but there are cultural beliefs and expectations. If grief and loss are the part of your story that you wish to explore I am here for you.

I look forward to your enquiry and to talking with you soon.
