About me and my therapy practice
Welcome! I'm Anna, a compassionate and skilled therapist here to provide you with a sense of self-love and acceptance, in order to pave the way for personal growth and resilience.
In sessions, I encourage my clients to explore their inner world within a safe and accepting space. With a focus on self-understanding, and exploration of your unique personality, I'm here to help you live a more fulfilling life.
I specialise in safely unpacking trauma, building up self-awareness and enhancing communication skills. I have numerous tools to help with trauma, anxiety, depression, bereavement, post-natal depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, baby loss and anger management.
Remember, you don't have to face your challenges alone. I encourage you to reach out and schedule a session. Let's embark on this journey towards greater self-understanding and self-love together.
Practice description
We will meet either weekly or fortnightly. I find the first six sessions will be the development of the therapeutic relationship and me getting to know your inner world. I suggest a minimum of 6 – 12 sessions. Therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to talk about problems and anything that is overwhelming you. I aim to help you spot and break negative patterns.
You will be driving the car, I will just be there to help you navigate if you get lost, or push the car if you get stuck in the mud.
My first session
I offer a free initial chat before we decide to work together.
In the first session we can look at the moment you decided therapy could help and the people and life events that may come in therapy, this subtle welcome to therapy allows us to be get to know one another and build the therapeutic relationship that will be so useful going forward as you trust me with your inner thoughts, worries and desires.
