About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can be hard, really hard. It’s okay to feel lost in your own emotions, and to feel unsure what it is exactly that you ‘should’ be doing to make things better for yourself. There are just so many options, right? Even trying to find the ‘right’ person to work with can be so completely overwhelming, at a time when you’re already sinking. I can help you gain clarity over what it is you want and need, and in doing so, you can discover whatever it is that is right for you and your life. Because this is your life, and you deserve nothing more than to live it feeling comfortable with you are, and perhaps even liking whoever that is.
Whether you’re suffering from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, overwhelm, facing a transitional time, or even a sense of feeling lost in your own life, I’d be more than happy to hear from you.
My favourite therapy quote of all time is from Carl Jung – “It is the privilege of a lifetime to become who you truly are.”
The reason I think this resonates so deeply with me, is because I know and often see the pain that comes with not being yourself. Putting other people’s wants before your needs (classic people pleasing), adapting yourself so as not to provoke a negative response from the people around you, to the point you’re not actually sure who the unfiltered version of yourself is anymore. So many people live there lives this way, but I promise you don’t have to. There is a way to hold your beautiful values like kindness AND also allow yourself to be a priority in your own life.
Together I want to help you find a balance that feels right for you, so that you can relieve yourself of the mountain you’ve been carrying (now prepare for a bit of cheese), because mountains aren’t meant to carried, they’re supposed to be climbed.
Practice description
Technically, I’m what you would call an Integrative Counsellor. For me, that means that I work with a formulated combination of the following theories: Person-Centred, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
What that actually means is that I work gently, with compassionate curiosity in the forefront of my mind. It means that I won’t push you too far, but I will help you to spot and challenge the thoughts and behaviours that have been evading you, and in doing so, have been preventing you from the change you want to work for.
I offer therapy: Online (zoom)
If anything I’ve written resonates with you, please do reach out. I would love to hear from you to see if I can help you on the journey you’re on.
Side note: I am also currently offering free access to an online journalling workshop that I run monthly. It takes place on the first Sunday of every month and anyone is welcome to join. Please just reach out if you’re interested and I’ll send you over the recurring zoom link.
*This does not replace therapy at all, but it is a safe space to come and learn how to properly utilise a tool that will expand your self-awareness and encourage self-acceptance.
My first session
Before our very first session, I always offer a complimentary 15-20 minute initial consultation that we can do over zoom or on the phone (whichever you’re more comfortable with), so that we can talk through what it is you’re hoping to get out of coming to therapy, I can explain how I think I might be able to best support you in doing that, and of course answer any questions you have.
If we go on to work together, our first full session will be an opportunity to get me up to speed with any relevant past experiences that you feel ready to share, as well as beginning to explore some of the links to the issues you’re facing in life today, with the goal of starting to shift things forward for you.
How Sessions work:
- Free 15-20 minute consultation before we begin
- 50-minute weekly or fortnightly sessions
- Sessions are open-ended, meaning that we can continue with therapy for as long as you feel it is needed
- No minimum number of sessions is required, and clients can end therapy when they feel they’re ready to stop

About me and my therapy practice
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure who you are anymore, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy after years of putting other people’s needs first, struggling with self-doubt, or feeling drained from trying to hold everything together.
I predominantly help women reconnect with who they are beneath all the noise... to find clarity, confidence and calm within themselves. My approach is warm, grounded and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing you down and start to untangle it gently, at your own pace.
It’s important that you feel comfortable, understood and supported. I offer a free 15–20-minute call so you can ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for whether we’d be a good fit.
Practice description
I use an integrative approach, drawing from Person-centred, Gestalt and Psychodynamic theories, tailoring each session to suit your needs.
Therapy works best when it meets you where you are. Some days we might explore deeper patterns and emotions; other days it might focus on helping you feel grounded and regulated in daily life.
Alongside traditional counselling, I also offer elements of nature-based and reflective work through my own framework, something I life to call: The Clarity Method, which weaves together curiosity, authenticity and compassion. This gentle, holistic approach helps you reconnect with your own wisdom and begin to trust yourself again.
My first session
I offer sessions in three formats so you can choose what feels most comfortable:
- In person (Digbeth, Birmingham) – A calm, dedicated therapy space for focused, face-to-face work.
- Walk & Talk (Cannon Hill Park or Warley Woods) – Ideal if you prefer being outdoors or find it easier to reflect while moving in nature.
- Online (UK-wide) – Flexible and accessible from the comfort of your own space.
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly at the same time each week.
Therapy is an investment in yourself; in your peace, growth and authenticity.
If you’re ready to stop running on empty and start building a life that feels true to you, I’d love to support you on that journey.
