About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or unsure why you're struggling?
Perhaps you've reached a point where simply getting through each day feels exhausting. You may find yourself overthinking everything, struggling to switch off, or feeling emotionally drained without fully understanding why. Maybe you've spent years putting everyone else's needs before your own, leaving you feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure who you are anymore.
It may be that something has happened recently, or perhaps experiences from the past continue to affect how you think, feel, and relate to others. You might notice patterns in your relationships, feel constantly on edge, battle low self-esteem, or carry a sense that you're never quite good enough. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, feel truly heard, and begin to make sense of your experiences at your own pace. Together we can explore what's beneath the surface, helping you understand yourself with greater compassion and discover a way forward that feels right for you.
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist working from a humanistic, person-centred approach, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. I am a qualified EMDR therapist, highly effective for PTSD, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. We can discuss whether EMDR may be beneficial as part of your therapeutic journey.
Together we can work to understand the causes of your difficulties, process painful experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen self-worth, and help you move towards a more fulfilling life.
I have experience supporting clients with:
* Anxiety and Depression
* Trauma and PTSD
* Childhood Sexual, Emotional and Physical Abuse
* DV
* Addiction
* Self-Harm and Suicidal Thoughts
* Low Self-Esteem
Qualifications
* BA (First-Class Honours) Counselling & Psychotherapy
* Qualified EMDR Therapist (EMDR Europe Accredited Training)

About me and my therapy practice
I offer clinical supervision grounded in Person-Centred theory and a humanistic, relational approach. Just as in my psychotherapy work, I view the supervision space as a collaborative and compassionate environment where supervisees—whether qualified or in training—can reflect, grow, and feel truly supported.
My role is to facilitate your professional and personal development, helping you deepen your understanding of the therapeutic process, build self-awareness, and develop confidence in your work. I aim to create a space that is safe, empathic, and non-judgemental, where all emotions and challenges can be explored without fear, and where you are encouraged to be restorative, resilient, and optimistic in your practice.
I work with counsellors from a range of modalities and use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision (Hawkins & Shohet) to provide structure. This allows us to explore your client work from multiple perspectives, including relational dynamics, interventions, and your own internal responses. My practice is underpinned by the BACP Ethical Framework, with a strong emphasis on the principle of non-maleficence.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Supervision (Northside Training – Ronen Stilman & Bev Gibbons)
First-Class Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy
Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children & Young People
I welcome enquiries from both qualified therapists and trainee counsellors, and offer a free introductory call to explore whether we’d be a good fit.
Practice description
I offer discounts for trainees and am flexible with session length and frequency whilst in training.
My first session
I offer a free consultation session to ascertain needs and mutually agree if we feel we can work together
