About me and my therapy practice
I am a experienced BACP Accredited Counsellor, working with adults. As a person-centred counsellor, I bring all aspects of my personality into my work ensuring my clients feel comfortable and safe enough to share their life experiences during our confidential sessions.
I sincerely feel that its not always easy finding a therapist that fits your needs and understand its difficult trying to find the right therapist for you so I’m more than happy to have a quick chat or alternatively I can offer you a free no obligation 30-minute consultation either on a video call or over the telephone. Following this, If I’m not the therapist for your need’s I will help you find the right therapist and will be more than happy to make a referral.
Within my Person Centred approach I also draw upon different theoretical approaches rather than using just one approach as have found this provides flexibility and freedom that enhances the therapeutic experience for my clients. I will tailor what I offer to you depending on your needs and requirement.
Practice description
I use a range of therapeutic approaches and will tailor our work in a way that best fits you. I will listen unconditionally, endeavouring to experience whatever you bring where I will be your guide providing a safe environment. You have the answers and solution's where I will work along side assisting you to see towards edges of your life that are possibly slightly outside your conscious awareness.
I will endeavour to bring you a new & refreshed focus with greater clarity and ultimately you will leave therapy with a meaningful way forward allowing you to live to your fullest potential.

Availability
I currently have limited availability to offer clinical supervision to qualified counsellors and trainees. Supervision sessions are usually offered on a monthly basis, in line with ethical and professional requirements, and subject to availability.
Appointments are available during the day and early evening. Supervision is provided face to face from my practice location however I can also work online.
Any planned time away from practice, such as annual leave, will be communicated in advance and discussed within supervision to support continuity and appropriate planning.
If you are interested in supervision and would like to enquire about current availability, please feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to discuss whether I can offer a suitable arrangement.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach to supervision is calm, thoughtful, and grounded. Sessions are led by what feels most alive or important for you — whether that’s client work, ethical questions, professional development, or how the work is impacting you personally.
I meet the criteria for ADHD, and this gives me a deeper understanding of working with both clients and counsellors who share similar traits. I’m particularly attuned to themes such as overwhelm, focus, self-doubt, emotional intensity, and navigating systems that don’t always fit how we think or work.
I also bring awareness shaped by significant personal trauma and PTSD. This informs how I hold the supervision space — with care, sensitivity, and respect for pace and boundaries. Where appropriate, I may draw lightly on my own lived experience or self-management strategies as a way of normalising and grounding the work, never to direct or instruct, and never to make the session about me.
I don’t tell supervisees what to do. Instead, I offer reflection, curiosity, and gentle challenge, supporting you to find your own clarity and authority in your practice.
Practice description
I’m a qualified Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor, offering supervision to counsellors who are looking for something open, collaborative, and human, rather than rigid or overly technical.
My supervision style is relational and reflective. I aim to create a space where you can slow things down, think freely, and talk honestly about your work — including the parts that feel uncertain, complex, or difficult to name. I’m interested in you as a practitioner, not just case material or meeting requirements.
I don’t position myself as the “expert with all the answers”. Instead, I see supervision as a shared exploration, where curiosity, ethical awareness, and professional integrity are central, and where learning happens both ways.
I feel that I bring a fresh approach, and a genuine commitment to reflective practice. I’m particularly keen to work with:
• Newly qualified counsellors
• Counsellors building or re-establishing their practice
• Counsellors who want a non-hierarchical, supportive supervision relationship
• Practitioners who value openness, honesty, and thoughtful reflection
My first session
The first supervision session provides an opportunity for us to meet, clarify your professional context, and explore what you are looking for from supervision. We will discuss your current role, client work, experience level, and any requirements you may have in relation to your training, agency, or professional body.
I will outline my approach to supervision, including the supervision contract, confidentiality, ethical responsibilities, and the balance between support, reflection, and challenge. There will be space for you to ask questions and to consider whether my supervision style feels like a good fit for you.
Prior to the first session, I may ask you to complete a brief information form and supervision agreement. These help ensure clarity around roles, expectations, and ethical practice. If preferred, these can also be completed at the start of the first session.
The first session is charged at the same rate as ongoing supervision sessions and lasts for the full agreed session length. There is no obligation to continue beyond the initial meeting, and you are welcome to take time to reflect before deciding whether to proceed.
