About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced Person-Centred Counsellor with a specialist interest in supporting individuals through the grief of pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, and termination. I understand that there is no "right" way to grieve, and my role is not to fix your pain, but to walk alongside you in a safe, non-judgmental space where your feelings can be acknowledged and honoured.

Whether you are navigating the immediate shock of a loss, the complex emotions of a subsequent pregnancy, or the lingering silence of a grief that others don't seem to understand, I am here to listen without agenda.

Specialist Areas

While I offer general counselling, I have a special interest in:

• Miscarriage and Early Pregnancy Loss: Processing shock, guilt, anger, and sadness.

• Stillbirth and Neonatal Death: Supporting the grief of losing a baby you had begun to know.

• Termination of Pregnancy: Navigating the complex emotions, grief, and decision-making associated with ending a pregnancy, regardless of the reason.

• Recurrent Pregnancy Loss: Managing the anxiety and trauma of repeated losses.

• Perinatal Anxiety and Depression: Addressing the mental health impact of pregnancy complications.

• Subsequent Pregnancies: Supporting the "joyful anxiety" and fear that can accompany trying again.

Practice description

As a Person-Centred counsellor,  I believe that you hold the answers within you, even when you feel lost. My job is to provide the conditions that allow you to process your unique experience at your own pace.

In our sessions, there is no pressure to "move on" or "get over it." Grief is not a linear process. We will explore your feelings, memories, and the meaning you are making of your experience. I offer a confidential space where you can speak freely about the baby you lost, the hopes you held, and the reality you face today.
