Availability

I am available for counselling sessions during the week from 12am until 8pm. I am also available from 9am until 12am on a Saturday.

About me and my therapy practice

The therapeutic relationship is predicated on trust and discretion, offering a secure, impartial environment where clients are listened to without prejudice.

My objective is to create a safe space for you to delve into your thoughts and feelings, offering guidance when you're uncertain about your life's direction. My approach to counselling is characterized by openness to your unique experiences, with the intention of assisting you in understanding your challenges better and partnering with you in your pursuit of self-awareness, personal development, and wellbeing.

I employ an integrative approach with clients, utilizing person-centred, psychodynamic, and transpersonal models. This approach facilitates the exploration of your current experiences and the influence of your past on your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. When suitable, I incorporate transpersonal elements, encouraging you to investigate deeper aspects of your selfhood, identity, and existence.

I have successfully worked with clients dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, life changes, self-esteem, and self-worth. Additionally, I handle existential issues like loss of purpose or direction, relationship difficulties, co-dependency, and stress. As a trauma-informed counsellor, I have experience working with Complex PTSD and issues related to sexuality and concerns unique to the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition, as a couples counsellor trained by Relate, I utilize systemic and psychodynamic models to comprehend the internal and external problems that could be creating challenges in your relationship.

Practice description

I am available for weekly, twice-weekly, and fortnightly appointments. Sessions are 50 minutes long, and I currently offer sessions on Zoom,  over the phone, or at my private counselling space in Purley Oaks. I can agree to regular appointments between 12 am and 8 pm during the week. I also hold sessions between 9.30 and 12.30 on Saturday mornings.

I have a comfortable & dedicated counselling room, an eight-minute walk from both Sanderstead and Purley Oaks train stations.

Sessions for individuals are priced from £65-70. Sessions for couples are £80. I offer some sessions for students or the unemployed at £50.

My first session

I offer a no obligation free Zoom or telephone consultation of 30-minutes as an opportunity to discuss how we could work together and give you the chance to ask any questions that you may have. You can then make an informed decision if you wish to proceed with working together.
