About me and my therapy practice
I’m James and I'm a BACP accredited Psychotherapist & EMDR Therapist. I predominately work with Neurodivergent and Queer adults in therapy to navigate trauma, masking behaviours, shame, anxiety and depression.
Coming from a lived experience as a Neurodivergent and Queer person. I'm passionate about working with others on their journey towards healing and self-acceptance
I work collaboratively with clients to help them understand why they feel the way that they feel. Depression & Anxiety rarely just pop up, its usually built over time either due to a specific event or multiple things in our lives. Once we’ve been able to answer that question, I devise a treatment plan to move towards healing and promote long lasting change.
I'm passionate about self-care for myself and my clients and when I'm not working, I can usually be find in the garden or my greenhouse trying to create space for more plants.
If you're ready to take the next steps on your healing journey, please feel free to get in touch. I do an initial session as a consultation, which is chargeable and gives us the both the time and opportunity to understand if we can work together.
Talking therapy session length 50 minutes
EMDR therapy session 50-90 minutes (discussed at consultation)
Fees £65 - £120 dependent upon therapy and session length
