I am currently welcoming new clients. I work daytime hours during the week.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly sensitive, empathic counsellor. I am interested in how I can work best with you as the unique person you are. I offer a safe, confidential place to discover your inner resources and find greater fulfilment in your life.
By challenging the cycles we get stuck in, we can uncover the blocks in place and explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings in more depth. I can help you to find your own new perspectives.
I have training and experience working with neuro-divergent clients. From this, I appreciate how this difference is a gift and can also be a challenge. I have experience working with clients from a range of genders, sexualities, ethnicities, ages, abilities, faiths and backgrounds.
Practice description
I offer an initial session to see how we fit together and will check out with you how you have found it towards the end of the session. If we feel we will work well together, I usually offer a weekly session with an open-ended agreement or if you would prefer I can work to a pre-arranged number of sessions.
My approach to therapy is non-directive and person-centred. This allows my clients to find their own path, feeling emotional supported and empowered in their personal journey.
My first session
In the initial session, I run through the welcome letter I would have emailed you to have an opportunity to explain anything or answer any questions you may have.
I then ask some questions to find out a bit more about your background and personal history.
For the remainder of the session we would talk from wherever you would like to start.
I will let you know when we are nearing the end of the time we have and would check in to see how it has been for you and discuss what we feel would be the best plan going forwards.
