About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist and I work collaboratively with you to develop greater awareness, insight, and understanding — supporting meaningful growth and change.

I offer an engaged and relational way of working. I am present with you in the room, not sitting in silence offering only “mm-hmm” responses. I will reflect, observe, and at times gently challenge, always with the intention of helping you think more consciously about your experiences. I will not tell you what to do, but instead support you in finding your own way forward.

My training is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, existential, person-centred, relational, CBT and Gestalt. This allows me to adapt how I work depending on you as an individual, rather than fitting you into one fixed model.

At the core of my approach is an exploration of your lived experience — how you experience life emotionally, mentally, physically, and within your relationships. Together, we begin to understand how past and present experiences may shape your thoughts, feelings, and patterns, including anxiety, stress, or relational difficulties.

The therapeutic relationship is central to my work. By paying attention to how we relate to one another, we can gain insight into how you experience and relate to others in your wider world — while always holding in mind that you remain the “captain of your own ship”.

Through our work, we make space to explore and make sense of internal conflicts, bringing greater clarity to thoughts and feelings that may feel confusing or overwhelming. As awareness grows, this can support a stronger sense of self, increased confidence, and the ability to make choices that feel more aligned with who you are.

Practice description

Experience

I run a private practice where I work with a consistent caseload of clients across a range of ages, genders, and presenting difficulties. My work includes supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, relational difficulties, and challenges linked to past experiences.

Since 2022, I have also worked within Category A and B prisons in London. In this setting, I support individuals with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, anger, suicidal ideation, and the impact of childhood trauma. This work has given me extensive experience working with complex presentations in high-intensity environments.

Prior to this, I worked within the NHS for three years in a secondary care community service, providing long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals with personality disorders. I worked with clients on a weekly basis, offering consistent, in-depth therapy over the course of a year.

Qualifications and Professional Memberships

I hold both an Advanced Diploma and a Master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London.

I am a fully registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), registration number: 2011174008.

I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), membership number: 394869.

My first session

Reaching out to a therapist can be a daunting task. Whether you have prior experience or this is your first time, I hope to make the experience as easy and stress free as possible.

Process:

Once you make an enquiry, I hope to get back to you within 48 hours.

We can organise a time limited call to allow an initial phone meet and to think further about how I might be able to support you.

If we both agree, we can organise a first session.

Before you attend the first session, I will send a confirmation email that contains location details, parking details, therapeutic contract and payment details.

Due to my approach, face-to-face sessions is most preferrable.  Where needed, I can offer online sessions.
