About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my profile, I want to explain first, that I feel it's important you receive a very genuine, honest and trustworthy experience from therapy sessions. It can take time to find the counsellor that works or fits for you. I understand that!
As an integrative counsellor with working experience in primary healthcare and mental health settings, I have an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of issues that individuals can face in their life. Including supporting those who may be struggling with their mental health, mood and anxiety difficulties, depression, isolation, stress, relationship and family issues, health related issues, addiction, bereavement, grief, loss and trauma.
Practice description
I provide a confidential and informal space for you to talk about any life events, both past and present, helping you to unravel any difficult emotions or thinking and behaviour patterns that are not benefitting you. Offering you a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship where you can feel heard and understood at a pace that is right for you.
I am offering sessions on the telephone or online via Zoom, each session will be 50-60 minutes in length.
My first session
I offer an initial 30 minute session (free) where we can talk about what counselling can offer you and my approach. I will answer any questions you may have. I will also ask you some questions to provide me with a little bit of background about yourself. This is an opportunity to see if we both feel I am the right therapist for you. Please email or message me if you would like to book an appointment.
